How would I do a search to find all the comparisons and contrasts used in the Bible? ie. light vs darkness, good vs evil, wise and unwise etc Also the contrasts and comparisons Jesus uses as he speaks to people.

All went well for me now. The problem seems to be fixed.

Certainly we pause to remember the great tragedy of the Holocaust.

Here is the work around from Faithlife. Worked great for me. Thank you for contacting us today! We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you. To fix the Restart to add new resources bug just follow these steps! Quit Logos. Choose a method to navigate to the Logos Directory. Windows: Right-click the Logos icon on the Desktop. Click Open

I do not remember, but the Home page, in previous versions to Logos, I do not believe was controlled by the Program settings. I guess this is one change to Logos 8.
-
I see it seems to be controlled by the Program Scaling. Mine was set at 120%. When I changed it to 100% now I get 2 columns. I guess it is not like past versions with a left side panel with reading program etc. It seems like it is all one large panel depending on the program settings. Why is it so complicated. Everything about Logos it seems is so difficult

Question about the Home Page. When I open it all the cards are in a single column in the center of the page. I have tried choose the # of columns and dragging/dropping the cards but nothing changes. I also have tried to add items. They are added but always in a single column. I have watched videos and still can't figure out how to make multiple columns

Very powerful to consider. We are so blessed. May God give us a new zeal to not only study the Bible but allow the Holy Spirit to make it part of our life, so the world may see Jesus in us.

That is a great explanation. Thanks so much

Mark, by all the comments that have been made this must be something that is really helpful. I have limited knowledge to all the finer point of Logos 8 and am not really sure how this will help organize my Library. or what advantage it would be to me to integrate this into my program. Please give me some insight. Thanks for all the work you did.

Fred I assume by using SOB'S you are trying to say " to make a sound like that of a sob or sobbing" or maybe you are really saying what I think you mean. If so please refrain from that type of response on this forum.

I now see as i search the other comments on the Forum that this topic has been brought up before. Maybe enough has been said but it really sound be addressed and corrected.

Has anyone else noticed on Logos 8 that the Tabs close much easier with not even wanting to close them. I do not remember this problem with other versions. I doing a study switching back and forth on different tabs and one closes and I am not sure why. I certainly did not mean to close it. Can be annoying.

I just purchased the The Lexham English Septuagint. How can I integrate that into my Word Study of a Greek word in the NT. When I do a word from a NT passage I see no place where the The Septuagint is referenced. The Septuagint Translation is blank.

Thanks so much. This forum is great because of all of you!

In Matthew 9:33 the crowd says "Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.” . Is there a way to do a search to find places where other people, in the Gospels, marveled at what they saw Jesus do or say?
-
Could someone please tell me if Brenton's Septuagint: English Translation will interface with Logos 8 Word Study and other guides. Thanks so much

I never considered Backing up Logos. I thought it was all synced to the server. If I want to Back up how do I do that?

Thanks for clarifying what I was trying to say. It is frustrating problem, maybe it will be fixed at a later date. Thanks so much
