I do not know when/if any DVDs may come out for L4, but I'll at least wait untill the end of the year, and If they are not out by then, I may go to a seminar.
...Hope the following helps.
Also canonical sorting is badly needed too - my main note file has got badly mixed up.
I believe a logos rep posted earlier today that this will be repaired in the next beta release. Steve

No, as PBB was THE only 'book-builder" that was designed to work with L3 and nothing has yet even been released for beta testing for L4. Anyone who might claim to have done so deserves a "Geek-of-the-Year' award! Regards Steve (Waiting impatiently for the "Book-Builder" module testing to begin - BUT, not holding my breath!)

I don't know how long it took to do the highlighting and FAvorites. And although I thought it had done notes , (I used "import all"), it did not. Doing the Notes separately took about 45 minutes to transfer and synch on a 1 core XP machine. Steve F
tell that to the people who would love to get their hands on The Interpretation Commentaries
The same thing happened to Barclay's Daily Bible Study Series - before I realized it was available under one of the earlier Schlars packages, it had been yanked out of Logos - I then bought the Scholars back then and it was
BUT even pre-pubs are under contract with a publisher
Dear Joe: In general, I agree with you, but the one i'm referring to was on Public Domain and came in through Community pricing. http://www.logos.com/products/prepub/details/2504 Commentary on the Psalms by E. Notice that my notes on Psalm 127 are interspersed with notes from other places. See that a Matthew 5:4 and a 1 Peter 3:19 note are after Psalm 127:1 but before v. 2. Why wouldn't these be sorted by Bible reference. How are they sorted? Kevin this has been noted today in another post and will be fixed in the next beta Scott Alexander Replied : Today
I'm wondering why Logos had to send me cd's if I was just going to call them and read the serial numbers to them and then the books would download?
Charles, "sometimes" these serial numbers are supplied by third parties and Logo does not have access to them (without taking hours to read them off the paper covers etc

Not wanting to do 3 differing commands I only typed in "Import All' in L4 and assumed it had (imported all) as I immediately saw "highlighting" where there had been none before in an L4 book AND saw the Favorites appear in the left hand column etc. I really don't use Notes so did not look for them until today. They were NOT there. So... type in specific
How very strange:
Kevin, If mine look like yours I will get back to you. However no using "Import Notes" command I see them appearing
that currently inventoried items need to be gone through before they can (legally?) switch to the download method.
Thomas, that makes sense for in-stock items. But for Pre-Pub's? Regards Steve F
they keep too low a profile in my opinion.
Probably with good reason. Recently, even in these Forums, many took shots at (or totally misunderstood) the concept and role of legitimate re-sellers, thinking that these companies or valid "Mom & Pop" operations were "stealing" from the Logos "mother-ship.' And unfortunately
They made my L3 run so slowly that I rarely used them.
This raises another question: Will there be an opportunity to "turn off" notes (like in L3) - especially if they appear to degrade speed performance?
Beta 2 appears to be running slower on my system than Beta 1.
I hope it is not due to the former old "Notes" being imported from L3. They made my L3 run so slowly that I rarely used them. Steve
And I still want to know why it is so stinking hard to get a download link (I have saved Bradleys post as a favorite now, and that will show up in about 5 days on my profile in the favorite posts section). You would think that on the support page of Logos.com there would be a clear downloads page with clear links to either

I just received notice that the Tyndale Commentary set pre-pub is about to ship in a few days, and that's on CD-ROM, though. Bummer. I wonder why they couldn't have done that as a download? Rosie, I have often found that if they just send the "Mailer" sleeve, that there is no problem, BUT if it arrives "boxed" LOOK OUT. That's what happened to my Word

NIV Study Bible, NLT Life Application Study Bible Jack, could you please post a web page etc regarding these two. I was not aware they were now a "logos" option. Regards Steve F
