  • Eusebian Canons in NA28

Hi, I'm struggling to get to grips with the Eusebian Canons in NA28 (pages 89-95). They contain lists of parallel passages between the four gospels. There don't appear to be any hyperlinks / cross-references between the numbers in the canon listings and the numbers (lurking in an asterisk footnote) in the main text. Do I need to click an option to turn

  • Re: Latin missing from Boethius: The Theological Tractates and the Consolation of Philosophy

Thanks. I reckon it would be worth changing the resource description to highlight this. I was confused by the text I copied above.

In fact I'm fairly sure that must be what's happened. In which case, the description for the English text resource ought not to mention the Latin text: During his brief life of forty-four years, Boethius authored and translated numerous important works and treatises on the Christian faith. Considered by Stewart and Rand to be “the last of the Roman

Is it possible I've just got access to the English through some collection/library that I've got? I don't know how to figure this out from looking at my account

Even numbered pages appear to be missing from this resource, which are the ones that should contain the Latin text, I think.

  • Re: LES text for Joshua 14:6

Thanks Brandyn. I wasn't 100% sure it was an error/typo, which is why I thought it better to raise it in the forum. I have used that typo reporting tool many times before. If I can offer a bit of feedback from an end-user perspective, it is a real pity that it effectively acts as a black hole, with no feedback on how the report has been handled. If

I don't know if it's there in the Vaticanus Logos resource as I don't have it either, though it is in the online facsimile: http://digi.vatlib.it/view/MSS_Vat.gr.1209/0260 p256, col 1, line 27 It's also there in the paper version of Swete which I linked to above. So it looks like an error in the Logos edition of Swete and therefore LES.

  • LES text for Joshua 14:6

Hi! Is there a reason why θεοῦ is omitted from the Greek text behind the Lexham English Septuagint for Joshua 14:6 (approx word #30)? It is there in Rahlfs and the Lexham LXX Interlinear. Could it be because it has been accidentally omitted from the edition of Swete used in Logos? It's certainly there in the 'paper' version: http://www.ccel.org/ccel

  • Suggestion: footnote popup color

Hello, can I make a suggestion about the footnote popups (both the temporary hover kind, and the more permanant click-to-open-a-scrollable-box kind): can there be a clearer border or a different background color to set it apart from the page text behind it? I find my eyes straying out of the footnote box and into the page text behind because the footnote

  • Re: Black boxes in the UI

Thanks for your help. Graphics driver update seems to have done the trick (even though the Samsung drivers are woefully out of date). One day I might try out the Leshcat drivers, which are meant to be bang up to date (but their site is down for maintenance as I write): http://leshcatlabs.net/

Richard, that's good advice. I have downloaded the latest drivers from Samsung which seem to be a bit better. Because it's an intermittent fault I will watch it for a couple of days and let you know how I get on. Thanks John

Thanks Richard. I did try the custom chrome command and that made no difference. Also, I have tried both graphics adaptors and the effect is the same with both. No graphic UI helpers.

Sorry should have included that info first time round! The laptop is NP700Z5A-S0 Samsung Series 7. It's Win7 64-bit on an Intel Core i7 (2.2 Ghz), with 8GB RAM and lots of HDD space. the graphics are switchable between AMD and Intel (but the problems occur whether I am in power saving or performance mode). I have restarted the computer and made sure

  • Black boxes in the UI

Hi, I've just upgraded to Logos 5 and I'm having problems with parts of the UI turning black. I have attached a particularly all-encompassing example, where only the scroll bar and 'updating' animated icon are visible. I can usually recover the window by clicking on the title bar. Any ideas? Thanks John

  • Copy all highlighted text from a resource

Hello, I have been reading a book in Logos recently, and I would now like to extract everything that I've highlighted into a Word document so that I can write up some notes. Please can you tell me how to do this? Many thanks John
