• Re: Dual Screen Issues

I recall having this issue a while back, but have not noticed it lately. It wasn't that severe; just the edge of the window could be seen on the other monitor, even when maximized, if I remember correctly. Seems okay now...

  • Re: Indexer crashing undendingly, unceasingly and regularly...

While this probably won't help you since you say you have tried about every reasonable suggestion, I thought I would add it just in case it could help someone else. I was having problems with the Merge Index command crashing on both my laptop and my PC. I tried the Rebuild Index command from a post I read on here and it worked on my laptop and seems

All coupon codes good for 24 hours for those of us kicking ourselves for not purchasing something... Anyone with me?

  • Re: Logos 4.0a is here

I am showing SR-7 still, too. It checks for updates and then a small window pops up in the bottom right-hand corner and says No Updates Available. I never noticed the window in the corner before... Edit: Whoops! I missed the post about it only being released to Beta users...

  • Re: Installing Word Biblical Commentary on Logos 4

...or call customer service and give them the license # from your CD and they can add it to your account. It will then download automatically in Logos 4. (You won't install anything off of the CD...)

  • Re: Collections

Another suggestion about collections (Logos is thinking...here we go again - they're never happy). Whenever I click on Tools-->Collections, it always opens up to the first Collection in my list aphabetically. It would be nice if it would remember the last collection you had selected, so you don't have to reselect it if you are accessing that collection

  • Re: what happened to my prioritization?

I had a similar problem today. I let my PC update overnight (latest release plus upgrade to Scholar's) and was looking through things in the morning. I had my library open with the prioritization window open with it. I have about 15 or 20 resources in the list and as I was looking at it, they started rearranging themselves! I don't know specifically

  • Prioritization preferences - what do you use?

I recently upgraded to Scholar's and having not been to seminary, sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed with the resources available. I realize that prioritizing is just setting up what you personally prefer, but I was curious as to what some of the resources are that are "must haves" when doing your studies. I am mostly interestsed in lexicons, commentaries

  • Re: Just made the leap to Silver
...unless you are infereing that not buying Scholar's silver will result in loss of salvation
So for $300 to upgrade to Silver, I can guarantee my salvation? Sounds like a good deal to me - thanks for your advice!

  • Re: Morris Proctor's seminars; who is going this year?

I'm hoping to go to the Cincinnati seminar in April, but I'll have to rearrange my work schedule. (I'm working midnights that week and wouldn't be too alert for a seminar after being up all night.) If my boss cooperates, hopefully I'll be able to make it. (Or should I spend the $$$ on resources... hhmmm?)

Windows snipping tool would be handy for this, if you don't mind just having a jpeg instead of text that you can edit...

  • Downloadable update

Does anyone know if there is a downloadable executable file to update L4 like there is/was in L3? This would make things much easier for non-internet connected PCs. I have been able to update my offline computer in the past, but it seems I have to try several different times, as L4 usually becomes unusable in the process.

This raises the question once again: Why do some get these e-mails and others do not? (There was a question a few weeks ago about an e-mail concerning discounts on WBC and HALOT, I think...) I did not receive this one, nor the one about WBC and HALOT. My "mailing lists" do not include Hebrew interest, Greek interest, academic, other anciecnt languages

I have experienced this too and found the problem to be what Bradley mentioned - indexing. When indexing finished, all was well.

  • Can't access resources after recent update

A few days ago, several resources were updated on my computer: TWOT, HCSB, NLT and a few others. The update worked fine on my PC connected to the internet. I have another computer that L4 is installed on (not connected to the internet) that I update manually by copying downloaded resources to the resource directory, copying my license file to the correct

  • Re: NIV

This has become a really sore issue with me. Zondervan is holding the ball and I think they have dropped it. The Logos app has been out for nearly two years now, which I think is sufficient time for them to re-write their license for Logos. My suggestion to anyone concerned about this - call Zondervan and ask to speak to someone who knows about this

I have had the same problem - Logos won't run on one of my Windows machines after the update. It starts "Preparing your library", but then says that Logos4 has stopped working and has been shut down. I traced it back to a fatal exception error and it is somehow related to the UserPreferences and UserPreferences2 folders in the Documents directory -

I didn't know if I should start a new thread or not, but Logos still crashes on startup. The error I am getting is: Error ID: 7266 Error detail: ArgumentException: No key may be null. 2630.Logos4Error.log This PC is runnning Windows XP SP3 and is not connected to the internet. I have been using this since L4 came out and have not had a problem until
