I put a list of what's in Portfolio here when I couldn't upload excel: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/3245/24663.aspx#24663

I upgraded from Gold to Portfolio for $727 + tax.

I'm with Alex, I feel like it's a wonderful Christmas present. Between Platinum & Portfolio I only looked up the prices on 7 resources/collections that I would want, and they added up to over $2,500. My Portfolio upgrade price was $727 so I went for it. Thank you Logos!

I've done a whole bunch but only on Matthew.

Thanks, Daniel. I followed your advice.

How does one report an incorrect link in a resource? I noticed one in this morning's study of the new NICNT Matthew: The "22" should link to Matt 4:22 but instead links to Matt 19:22.

Thanks, guys. I'm keeping my eye on the pre-pub page, and may make the switch before it goes to 100% (and presumably the price goes up). It's just that I would hate to lose out on the two smaller collections if budget issues cause me to cancel the larger collection before it goes live, and I don't think it's fair to Logos to keep all of the pre-pub

I know I want the Raymond Brown collection, which is $120 by itself, and the Pseudepigraphica, $90. I'm not particularly interested in A Marginal Jew by itself ($160). Is there anything especially worthwhile in the rest of the collection?

I noticed today that my NA27 (file LOGOSNA27.lbxlls) provides the Lou-Nida gloss up through Philemon. Starting with Hebrews the gloss disappears. What happened? Do others have the same thing with this resource?

I've been making my way through the A. W. Tozer collection, using them as daily devotionals. So far I've finished 8 of them. I really enjoyed The Cosmopolitan World of Jesus by Carston Thiede - doesn't make Jesus and the apostles out to be country bumpkins. How to Choose a Bible Version was really informative. It has a good summary of the different

Goodacre accepts Markan priority. He does not accept Q. He argues that Luke used both Mark and Matthew.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

My church is starting a new Bible study class for Chinese immigrants, some of whom grew up under Communism and have no Christian background whatsoever. Any suggestions for Logos resources to use in teaching such a class? No Chinese language needed - there will be an interpreter.

If you mean the Logos News section that contains the latest Pre-Pub announcements, I'm still getting those.

I bought my son (age 24) the Bible Study Library last year for his birthday. He really enjoys using it for bible study. I think it depends a lot on the age group. He hardly ever reads physical books.

Hermeneia is going for $699 with some of the Amazon sellers (including Logos).

I like reading the newsgroups. But since I switched to a free web-based e-mail account (using wireless to connect to my son's ISP) I haven't been able to figure out how to post to a newsgroup. I used to connect through AOL and they dropped the ability to read newsgroups years ago.
