Here's a sample of the Daniel themes resource; you can see themes from some of the chapters and the beginning of one chapter...

  • Re: Verbum Now Member Benefits

So I have been checking all day, the benefits page in the first post still links to the July code. I tried that, and I tried guessing about the August code based on July code, and both are invalid. Has this been fixed, or is the new code posted somewhere other than the benefits page?

  • Re: Question on Thompson Chain Reference Bible

Thanks David, so unless I misunderstood your reply, it does sound like the Logos bold scriptural references are original 1964 print edition, and the non-bold are the 1997 update! That seems like a reasonable conclusion to me! If I understand that correctly thanks so much for your help!

Thanks David, at the bottom one can see 722 with the bolded references. Your reply had a lot of good info, a couple of replies: (1) You said the bold may be expanded references that were added later....can you elaborate? Was this a revision of the Thompson print copy or something else? (2) Yes I saw those comments in the front, unfortunately it just
I wondered the same thing. My only guess (and this is only a guess) is that the print version only had so much room in the margins and some of them had to be left out in order to have enough room on the page for other chains that had to go on the same page.
Thanks Rick, I wondered about that too. Not having access to the

  • Question on Thompson Chain Reference Bible

I watched the Morris Proctor video on the Logos implementation of the Thompson Chain Reference Bible, and I thought it was very interesting. I had a question about it though, for those of you that use it or know about it... The Marginal Notes will show a Bible reference for a topic that is part of the "chain". The entire chain of bible references can

  • Re: Repeatable crash (for me)

I don't remember the tag, I think it was the name of the books without their Volume number. I was totally surprised to see two tags that were identical for each book, I have no idea how they got there. I highly doubt I added them. I did some testing to see if I could add a duplicate tag, and I could not. When I removed both tags and entered a new tag

Thank you JT for the understanding remarks. It just comes across sometimes, but some people can be more critical than helpful. Maybe they’re just having a bad day. But I appreciate your reply. The problem was that somehow those resources had duplicate tags in them, which you we are not able to enter on your own. That crashed the system. How duplicate

Apologies in advance but...I was hoping for a comment on the crash, not for one within an hour being upbraided for saying I was disappointed I didn't get a reply.

  • Can anyone explain the difference in these resources?

See the picture - it appears two of the resources are chapters 1-89, and two are 1-92. Are these duplicates mostly? Why does one set have 3 more chapters?

  • Repeatable crash (for me)

Verbum/Mac, 9.15.004 It's a crash when I select all my titles with "Psalms" in the title: 1. Open Verbum/Mac 2. Drag library to be full screen (on a MacBook Pro) 3. Type title:Psalms (I have 403 entries) 4. Click on the first entry 5. Type Control-A to select all, then drag the cursor just a bit. I get a spinning wheel and immediate exit of the program

This crash is NOT fixed, I duplicated it exactly as to what I reported before: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/205700/1197528.aspx#1197528 1. Run Verbum 2. Tools/History 3. Click on Images of St. Paul "Plan of Southern Sector of Temenos" (it happens with other images too; this should have been brought up in a prior session so it is in your History

Yes but it was a question about theological positions. That's no different than saying "What are the reasons that people don't believe in Sola Scripture (for a paper I am doing)", and watch how that discussion collapses. While the OP may be requesting information for a very worthy project, it is clearly outside the guidelines of the forums, and you

Please someone close this thread. I can't believe an MVP started it. It's way out of line for the forum guidelines. Let's get back to Logos, Verbum, tools, how to use, requests for help.
