• Re: Repeatable crash (for me)

Thank you JT for the understanding remarks. It just comes across sometimes, but some people can be more critical than helpful. Maybe they’re just having a bad day. But I appreciate your reply. The problem was that somehow those resources had duplicate tags in them, which you we are not able to enter on your own. That crashed the system. How duplicate

Apologies in advance but...I was hoping for a comment on the crash, not for one within an hour being upbraided for saying I was disappointed I didn't get a reply.

  • Can anyone explain the difference in these resources?

See the picture - it appears two of the resources are chapters 1-89, and two are 1-92. Are these duplicates mostly? Why does one set have 3 more chapters?

  • Repeatable crash (for me)

Verbum/Mac, 9.15.004 It's a crash when I select all my titles with "Psalms" in the title: 1. Open Verbum/Mac 2. Drag library to be full screen (on a MacBook Pro) 3. Type title:Psalms (I have 403 entries) 4. Click on the first entry 5. Type Control-A to select all, then drag the cursor just a bit. I get a spinning wheel and immediate exit of the program
a day of obligation in the Catholic church,
No, it is not, although imho it should be, and it probably was years ago. • ADAM and PHILANA: This is NOT fixed - still crashes!

This crash is NOT fixed, I duplicated it exactly as to what I reported before: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/205700/1197528.aspx#1197528 1. Run Verbum 2. Tools/History 3. Click on Images of St. Paul "Plan of Southern Sector of Temenos" (it happens with other images too; this should have been brought up in a prior session so it is in your History
Do you consider these initial posts to be inappropriate? Need some help with understanding "theosis" - Faithlife Forums (logos.com) Orthodox Ordo Salutis - Faithlife Forums (logos.com) When did Mary the mother of Jesus begin to be worshipped - Faithlife Forums (logos.com) If not, did you call them out or report them? If not

  • Re: For 40,000 denominations it only takes 16 issues ...

Yes but it was a question about theological positions. That's no different than saying "What are the reasons that people don't believe in Sola Scripture (for a paper I am doing)", and watch how that discussion collapses. While the OP may be requesting information for a very worthy project, it is clearly outside the guidelines of the forums, and you

Please someone close this thread. I can't believe an MVP started it. It's way out of line for the forum guidelines. Let's get back to Logos, Verbum, tools, how to use, requests for help.

Hi Philana, here is a video showing the crash, if that helps! It's a link to my dropbox account of the video. I am running Verbum fullscreen, you can see it just ends and goes back to another screen.Note it does not always show as a cash in Mac console or the Verbum error log, and it did not this time - it just shows this in the Verbum.log, which you

  • Last report - Same crash

I added one more fresh set of log files on this crash, as I narrowed down the steps to reproduce without any extra steps. 1. Run Verbum 2. Tools/History 3. Clock on Images of St. Paul "Plan of Southern Sector of Temenos" (it happens with other images too; this should have been brought up in a prior session so it is in your History) 4. Click and drag

  • Crash using "Close All"

With a fresh set of log files below....Opened Verbum, Opened History, clicked on an "Images of St. Paul.." image, dragged library pane into the empty area so left-to-right I have the history narrow panel, library, and images. I clicked the "Close all" in the top right corner, and it crashed. It did it twice, between the first and second I deleted all

  • Crash closing Verbum window

Verbum/Mac 9.12 beta 2. I had been scrolling through the images of the resource "Cities of Paul: Images and Interpretations from the Harvard New Testament Archaeology Project" with its window floating, and maximized. When I eventually closed that window, Verbum was gone - closed. It was reported as a crash in the console logs, here is the beginning

Why can't he just ask a simple question?
He can. And in a number of cases, I have the right to ask why he asks before deciding whether to answer or not. No need to get hostile - there is a thing called equal rights. Edit: on questions unrelated to the software, it is reasonable for me to know
