  • Re: Link issue

I wondered about that. I also suspected that since the FSB had transliterated Greek and the lexicons might be expecting actual Greek, if that might not be an issue. Evidently not. Thanks for your checking. So, the solution is to download every resource that I might want to use? Seems inefficient. Perhaps there is an easier programmatic solution. Greg

Okay. Faithlife Study Bible on my iPad. 1 Timothy 4:6 There are two links for diakonos; NIDNTT and TDNT. Both take you to the title page of each resource, not to the entry for kiakonos. Greg

Yes, I should have been more specific. I'm using the Faithlife Study Bible, among other Logos mobile apps. As I stated in my previous post, most of the issues seem to be with lexicons: TDNT, EDNT, NIDOTTE, etc. It did work yesterday with the Anchor Yale dictionary. I haven't tried it yet with the Logos mobile app.

  • Link issue

Lately I've noticed that if I click a link in a mobile app, it takes me to the beginning (first page) of the resource, rather than to the actual entry. Not so much with bibles, but especially with dictionaries and lexicons. Basically all it does is just open the needed resource. Any ideas?

I also am having the same issue. Indexing stops at around 11 or 12%.

  • Highlights in Multiple Resource View

In my normal bible view, I have four multiple resources turned on: CSB, CSBSB, LHB, and SBL:GNT. If I remember correctly, in Logos 7 when I selected a word in the CSB, the corresponding word in either the LHB or SBL:GNT would also be highlighted. Do I remember correctly? If so, I don't see this working in Logos 8.

  • Resource and version update indicators

For the most part, I really like Logos 8. I do miss the Resources Updated and Latest Version information that used to appear just to the left of Synchronize icon. Has that information moved somewhere else? If not, any chance of getting them back? Thanks.

  • Re: Faithlife Connect - I'm out!

This is why I do not like subscription software or services. Faithlife seems to be taking a page out of DirecTV's playbook. Create many confusing levels and then charge outrageous prices for them. I was initially leery of Logos Now, but subscribed anyway. It has proved worthwhile. However, Faithlife just convinced to turn off "auto-renew" and stick

These are all good ideas and I thank you, but I'll probably not remember them in six months. :) There are already filters available on the product pages. I'm just suggesting adding another helpful one.

  • Re: Can the Courses tool please get some bug fixes?

If I may add three more issues I've found with the Courses Tool: 1) Sometimes the section boundaries are way out of whack. See my post re "30 Words" for example. The sectioning is so bad for that resource that you miss half of some of the sections. 2) Upon successfully finishing the course you are not always given credit. The above book "30 Words" is

  • New filter fro product lists

I got my Logos Now benefits email yesterday. It said I could get a free book off of a list. I checked out the list. Over 3,000 titles! This would take a while to go through. Even filtering by category still amounts to several hundred to peruse. I noticed that I already owned a number of the titles as indicated by the gray "Add to Cart" button. In one

  • "30 Words" course

Not sure if this is the right group or not. Currently doing the "30 Words" book in the Logos 7 courses tool. The segmentation is all off. Sometimes it's broken right in the middle of a verse, sometime a paragraph. This should be looked and corrected please. Thank you.

  • Document sub-folders

After using Logos for several years, I have quite a collection of documents, especially visual filters. Wading through them to find just what I'm looking for can be a hassle. What do you think about user-created sub-folders in Documents? For example, I could put all of my Greek filters in their own folder, as well as the Hebrew ones, etc.
