It appears that they're different sound productions. The free one is read by Gordon Greenhill and is produced by Lexham Press. The other is produced by christianaudio (sic) and is read by Simon Vance. It's odd that the product pages don't include much (or any in the former's case) info about the reading itself. I don't THINK there's any difference in

At https://www.logos.com/product/215259/center-for-new-testament-textual-studies-new-testament-critical-apparatus , in the Overview, the third paragraph is a repeat of the last half of the second paragraph.

BTW Josh, congrats on your 1,000th post!

I'm so grateful for the improvements, especially this one: - Highlight the current entry in Table of Contents views. Thank you, FL!

Yeah, I'm afraid that's priced out of my tax bracket! I hadn't been tracking its updates in a while.

Thanks, Nick. I wasn't before, but now I'm really tempted to get this resource! I originally hesitated because I didn't really need a commentary that summarizes whatever everyone else has already said, but his perspective on this -- as well as the intertextual stuff, about which he also looks to be making refreshing insights -- makes me extremely interested

I love how calendrical issues reflect more than just a community's astronomical understanding of things, but also reflects many of their values. In my Dead Sea Scrolls class with Shemaryahu Talmon , he was always pointing out how those documents were full of references to the calendar and its implied values that often were at odds with Roman, Greek

Similar to what Joseph said, this is an area I don't know much about or study. Otherwise, and for other future projects, I could jump in.

Thanks again to FL for February's freebies and discounts. Though I already had the free one and almost all the discounted volumes (the theme this month is an area of concentration for me) , one of them was actually on my wish list.

Indeed!
In my case, I never picked up the Marginal Jew series; I noticed it in a large Verbum, then found a cheapo that offerred it at half-price. And included a bunch of reference works I can use. Bingo.
Bingo indeed! I had given up trying to grab the rest of this. Thanks for mentioning it!

Before putting this idea up for a vote, I wonder if users could throw in their two cents about the feasibility or usefulness of FL including some Anki functionality. It seems the mobile vocab app is not widely used and isn't getting any coding attention, so I propose one of two things: 1. Integrate Anki into the desktop app as a tool so we could dump

The Logos 5 Platinum legacy library page was apparently copy/pasted from the L6 info. At https://www.logos.com/product/218998/logos-5-platinum-legacy-library we read: " The Logos 6 Legacy Libraries reintroduce the classic libraries of Logos 6. This library is offered without features and datasets, making it the perfect standalone collection of resources

I've been on board for a long time. It would be a great thing if FL could find a way to push these forward, anyway. But given the apparently weak response, I can see why they wouldn't.
Note however that the hyperlinked searches in the Hebrew documentation will not work if you click on them. I'll report a bug for that. Copying and pasting the searches should work just fine though.
I think this is still an issue. When I click the link, a bible search in "All Bibles" comes up and it's empty. Interestingly

That was a fun and informative post! Thanks!

I've had the same question. I like the idea.
