Perhaps your operating system does not meet the requirements (such as Win7 SP1 for Windows). https://www.logos.com/system-requirements#requirements

It sure is! Something I've noticed since L6 came out is that I pay much more attention to the books I own or are interested in owning, I'm reading a lot more, and my level of curiosity about authors such as Zahn (who never previously entered my academic landscape) is heightened. A dollar qua dollar doesn't mean that much, but it's fun to be interested

It's down to $13. I'll go door-to-door to see if we can get it to $12. You know; I don't think I've worked this hard for a dollar (adjusted for inflation) since I mowed lawns as a teenager.
As far as Faithlife is concerned (or any business for that matter) their "business" responsibility is to offer the opportunity to choose. How they do that is the topic of this thread. Generally I'm comfortable with how they do this. I choose to receive most email offers by Faithlife and keep my eye out for items that may

What would be cool is if these were supplied with MIDI files, too. I don't see that it's mentioned, though. However, there are several programs that can convert; I wonder if any of them can run in batch mode.

I should add that I was playing them in the "Logos Hymnal Media Resource". If I open the "Logos Hymnal", I click on the eighth note icon and it plays.
-
It's a feature I've not explored in a long time, but your message prompted me to try it. I clicked the "MIDI" and after an oddly long time, a MIDI rendering of the hymn came through my speakers.
I recently checked the word "hopeless" in the NET Bible, and it occurs only once, so I think I should wait in positive mood
With smiles like that, I just might have to get this resource, too!

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I cannot find the thread. Please excuse my redundancy. When buying a base package with CP items included, what happens if those items never get put into production?
-
Thank you guys so much! The collection looks pretty good, then, with dynamic pricing. It's just kind of odd that the whole Charlesworth thing isn't included.
-
I'm sorry I was so unclear in my question. What exactly is included in the Alternate Texts from volume 1? How much of Volume 1 do I miss out on if I just get Charlesworth through the Cultural Concepts Collection?
-
I'm ignorant. So what's the issue here? Is only part of the Charlesworth set included, or what? Thanks!
I've withdrawn my bid and my excitement after reading the caution.
Shogren's points are good. But the same can be said, to some degree, for almost anything written about, say, Paul before 1977. But that doesn't render these resources invalid or worthless. Similarly, while nobody buys into Bultmann's John commentary wholesale

I'd like to know more about how the music notation will look, and how many of those hymns actually have notation.

I kinda' wish I hadn't thrown away all my old CDs just last week. I have no idea what I tossed out among the mountain of Logos discs.
-
What gets me is those who constantly bid well below the peak with the mistaken idea that somehow that will lower the price, kind of like going to an auction and then bidding below the last bid hoping that somehow they'll get the object.
True, but if it's not worth the peak price, I'm not going to bid it just to push

I've got Windows 8.1 and I do not have the problem.

I am. Or was. New Testament.

Excellent post, Fr Devin. Years ago, I suggested something akin to the Literary Type Dataset, but realized at the time that in my own academic work, I would never trust someone else's categorization of a text. Instead, I wanted a way to develop my own dataset, perhaps in conjunction with a published one. By saying this, I'm not intending to make a suggestion

Yeah, my bad. Sorry.
