Thanks for all your help, guys! I KNEW you kids would know what I was talking about!

Hey guys! So the other day I read a quote about TRUTH either by Aristotle or Plato (not necessarily in Logos) which I now CANNOT find ANYWHERE, more frustratingly, not even with Google. So I thought I'd see if it rings a bell with anyone in these fine fora. It has to do with truth and goes along the lines of "If something is. and is the way I think

Hey everyone! On a related note, I just tried to auto-save a layout by using the recommended keyboard combo of "Ctrl+Alt+L" (written right next to "Update Active") Instead, it opens a standalone Library window . Does anyone else have this happen, either because the folks at Faithlife simply put the wrong keyboard combo there, or perhaps I have some

Hey all! There's is some great information above for me to go check out and see if it helps me better understand why stuff was done. *Thanks!*

Hey folks, I have never studied Greek or Hebrew or anything so I am very grateful for Logos' language tools. But here's where I'm confused. In 1 Corinthians 6.9, I see the fragment "nor men who practice homosexuality" (ESV). The study I am doing has asked us to pay attention to the verb tense. "Well I can do that!" I think. Or can I? So I crack open

As a new Christian, I accidentally discovered a fantastic series by Max Anders called the "What You Need to Know About..." series. I don't think it's in Logos, although some Max Anders resources, such as 30 Days to Understanding What Christians Believe | Logos Bible Software is and I can MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND anything he does. The "WYNTNA" series was

Well, one thought is that by it being purchased for use on Faithlife, it would contribute to continue helping to fud its development. I must admit it is truly an OUSTANDING take on the gospels and my husband and I have supported the cause. My particular favourite was their initial offering, "The Shepherd", made one Christmas. If you have never seen

Okay, so half of that went over my head... and now I'm going to have to go look up exactly what a Philologist is, and I object to the Philistines almost certainly being Canadian, but LOL! That was GREAT! Carmen in Kingston, Ontario

But I'm not sure how to let Logos know about it, unlike typos in books. The height of the ark here is listed as 75 ft, like its width, but it would correctly be 45 feet.

Hey DAL, I'm curious and did a search of my own Logos library but could find no definition of what "typological preterism" is, exaxtly. I'd want to figure that out before I decide if this is a resource of interest to me or not... can anyone point me to a definition of some sort? Thanks! Gosh, you'd think 7,529 resources would have had SOMETHING to say

Is there a way to tell Logos to expand all the little plus signs by default, or must I just do it manually as I go along? C.

Unfortunately there used to be such a program, Library Express, aimed at both home AND professional use, but which no longer exists - a very powerful library program that allows me to catalog all my books and their information, including by using a barcode scanner (YES, I AM A HOME USER AND HAVE ONE! ) to check books, movies, CDs, whatever in and out

Hey everyone! I know someone asked about this, and we were told that it's not currently available or possible, so here I am making a suggestion to include it in the future. The reason I ask is because I just did a Bible search on a word to do a more in-depth study, and although my search had only seven results of the word itself, I saw that the Fuzzy

Yeah definitely agreeing with MJ there... when I went through law school Many Many Years Ago, one of our mandatory first year courses was Legal Research, where we were taught in the Classroom of the Library, *step by step*, with exercises, how to research laws (Canadian federal and provincial etc.), case law (Canadian, Common Law, Civil law...), and

Hey Christian... this is not really the type of question this is forum is made for (i.e. an interpretation of text) The type of questions we discuss here are "I'm trying to understand who Paul is talking about in Romans 7 - how could I use Logos to help me figure that out?" Hope this helps!

Congratulations, Bob and the rest of Faithlife on this great move. I think one thing that makes a leader a real leader is self-understanding - knowing what your strengths are and what you need to delegate to those whose strengths fit better. You seem to have done this, and it will only help Faithlife move into the next stage of the great work you have

Okay, thanks HJ!

Hey kids! Just reading through some commentaries on Genesis 1, and one said that "let there be..." are "jussives". I did a search in Logos but can't seem to find what those are? Anyone have a definition? Thanks!
