What I'd be curious about, since I own Logos and not Verbum is WHY it would be more easily searchable in one than the other. Shouldn't it be identical? Anyone? I'm just curious...

Said the inventor of the QWERTY keyboard, "Dang. I KNEW I shouldn't have put the G and the F so close together!"

I upgraded last week, and so far so good! Not even any of the printer problems some folk have had, and no issues at all with Logos.

May I commend (and re-commend!) Faithlife's course BI291 - The Apocrypha - Witness Between the Testaments , taught by Dr. David deSilva? It was EXCELLENT. Or you can read his book, Introducing the Apocrypha - Message, Context and Significance . In fact, I fully plan to create a TEDD talk (Theology, Education, Doctrine and Discussion!) for my church

Thanks! Certainly a relevant read in These Times!

Okay, thanks fellas!

... a bit like Revelation: Four Views , but for the Calvinism vs Arminianism debate? I'm meeting a friend for coffee next week sometime, and am looking for some "one-stop" reading in Logos in the meantime, if such a resource exists. Anyone? Thanks!

I'm with JT - Logos is now a massive Factbook for me.

Yo! I have no opinions as regards iPads since I don't own one. I have, however been a Surface Pro user for years (Surface Pro 2 followed by Surface Pro 7 last year). My reasons for loving those awesome tools is because: 1. For all our criticism of Microsoft and Windows (and I'm good at it too!), by gum, when they do hardware-related stuff, they do it

Hey guys! So I'm just reading though the new Logos Tutorials on topic research that just came out. At one point they tell us to do a topic search, and as a result, my list of resources includes Library (Cloud), which it shouldn't, since my entire library is on my computer. Steve Gregg: Revelation - Four Views, available in Logos.

Sorry, can I ask a (perhaps rude?) question here? The reason I'd want to order this is to better undertand Romans. But the pre-pub says this is crucial to understanding "Barthianism"... umm... why would that be something that I'd want to do? And even if I have no interest in THAT, would this commentary serve me well in my aim of learning more about

As I age, I've found myself saying Hear Hear to things like this... even if I hadn't noticed it yet, LOL! So Hear Hear!

Well thanks, all! Plenty of info here tp get started with!

Mike, you funny man, you!

I've also just noticed that my typing is no longer lagging, something that other people have spoken about as well. C.

Thanks Roy... yes my scaling was set to 100%, but as I went through my settings, I also noticed that Harware Acceleration was turned off. I turned it on, restarted and a. things seemed to load faster, and b. My video showed up. Have no idea if that was the fix or not, or just a coincidence. I'll know as I continue over the next few days. Thanks for
