Thank you, MJ, for pointing this out. I used "The Joy of Discovery" 45 years ago when I did a summer internship with a church in the Des Moines, IA area. I'm glad to see it updated and available in Logos. Thanks again!

Try this: <Person Paul> NEAR <Person Gamaliel>
TL/DR: 1) How do I get search results for the questions of Christ. 2) Please relook at the Logos search function. I realize this is a much-discussed topic (maybe that indicates a problem for the general user), but after searching the forums (for literally hours), I still can't figure out how to find the questions of Christ

Mine is working correctly now...after a reboot of the computer...

I cannot change which version of the Bible that I prefer to use
Bill, what do you mean by that? Can you not change the Bible version you copy from at all, or does it revert back to Webster's even after you copy from some other version? I just fired mine up, and it retains the last-used
Bill, thanks for jumping in. Do you currently have Wordsearch installed on your computer? I do - and it works well. I think that Zipscript is using the Wordsearch libraries to get the data for your word processors. My concern is that on my next computer, since I can no longer install Wordsearch, Zipscript will not function

Xnman, I'm not sure if this will work for you or not, but my ZipScript is still usable in MS Word and in WordPerfect. I had not used it in "years" and actually had forgotten about until I started reading your posts. I found ZS in my list of individual apps under the WSearch 12 link. Clicking on the windows symbol on the left side of my task bar and

Good morning Jeffrey. You should be able to do a "Ctrl+R" in your NA28 and hear the Scriptures.
-
Thank you, Sean. That is getting closer to what I would like to see. However, the number of links don't seem to add up. Using the cross-reference tool, it shows ~ 3400 cross-references from Daniel to the rest of the Bible...not sure why there would be that much of a disparity. I will see what I can utilize for the class that I will be teaching.

I found it in a Media Search in "All Media" in "All resources" as a file in my "downloaded Library".
I am wondering.... since Cross Reference seemed to already make the connection (which searching the whole book).... say cross referencing the whole book of Daniel... does it go verse by verse through Daniel? If it does... then it would seem to be a simple ordeal... just to print the verse that is cross referenced ...then the verses

Michael, Thank you for this listing. It is another step closer to what I would like to see/do for the class that I will be teaching. Right now, I'm thinking that this information will suffice for this year's class, however, I may also, some time in the future, go through Daniel verse by verse and follow the cross-reference links from Daniel to Rev.

Thank you Michael.
-
Matt, I appreciate the help, but the Important Passages does basically the same thing that the Cross-reference Guide does, just not in Canonical order.
-
This is a set of commentaries that I would definitely invest in if it were in Logos format!

I will be teaching a class on Daniel in the coming weeks and thought it would be nice to present a list of the cross-references in Daniel connecting it with the rest of the Scriptures. However, with over 3K references, it became a lot more complex. I could go through each verse of Daniel and list each cross-reference, so that I have source and destination

There are already several resources available from College Press publishing, Joplin, MO, that are already in Logos. There are several resources from Standard Publishing also available as well.

Thank you for the prompt MJ. I submitted at suggestion at: Reverse Cross-Reference | Faithlife I hope something can be done with relative ease.
-
Hi MJ. While this does give all the cross-references from a book, it doesn't refer to the Scripture in the "source" book. I just did a search on the book of Daniel. It listed all of the cross-references i.e., Genesis *.*, but it didn't link or show which Daniel reference was being used. I would like to see something that would list all of the references

Books on Preaching: One of my favorite books on Preaching is entitled "The Sermon Doctor." It is written as a novel that focuses on three preachers that are having difficulties staying "excited" about the preaching event. The "Sermon Doctor" encourages them to encourage each other and others, by recalling the reason that they preach. He goes through
