Philana, I raised this issue long time ago in I think in 2011 on Logos 4 when I got my MacBookPro with dual GPU and pointed Logos to information here ... for a while it was OK. https://gfx.io/switching.html https://developer.apple.com/library/content/qa/qa1734/_index.html Now When I start with Logos Home page, it will always switch from integrated to

Hi, May I know if there is an easy way to search for <Lemma = lbs/el/ἰδού> in NT where it is not being translated like those with "." in the screen shot above. Thanks.
-
MJ, May be another alternative is to have the translation wheel include a segment for words in Original Language Text that are not translated. There is a precedent of doing that in Septuagint. See my post couple of days ago http://community.logos.com/forums/t/135098.aspx

Bradley, Thanks for reply ... Understand
-
Denise, Thanks for pointing me to the right place
-
MJ, Certainly, that option should stay May be if Logos can consider providing the same setting option under the Lemma section
-
Hi Logos, I found that when I hover my mouse to "love" or "愛" in the first search results, the pop up should show Mt 5:43; instead it is showing next and subsequent verses (44 onward). It happen to both English and Chinese.
The original language text of the CUV NT reverse interlinear is the SBLGNT. Any lemma, root and morph data you see in the aligned Greek is drawn directly from that resource. You can read more about it here: https://www.logos.com/product/8486/the-greek-new-testament-sbl-edition . Simliarly, the ESV and NASB95 New Testaments
The number in the spark graph at the top of the Bible Word Study (BWS) pane is drawn from the reverse interlinear of your preferred Bible translation . Furthermore, the BWS count does not include any alignments to nothing (i.e. bullet points in the translation, meaning the original text word was translated into the
I don't understand why you get a different count in the Lemma section and the Translation section in the BWS
Graham, I switched my Logos from Chinese to English and run the same scenario with NIV. Note that Hits under Lemma section is 187, and Hits in the Translation Wheel Section is 101. difference reflect that

MJ and Graham, Thanks for responding to the Chinese Forum and keeping me company ... I was feeling a little lonely here In another thread, I was trying find out what is the underlining Original Language Text(s) used for the CUV RVI ... I have not got an answer yet, which might be one answer to the problem I am reporting here. Based on the BWS translation
-
Philip, Is there anyway you can find out? Thanks. I am having some inconsistent hits between Bible Word Study Guide and Bible Search as reported in another thread. Thanks.
-
Hi Logos, I discovered that the number of hits for <Lemma = lbs/el/ἰδού> does not agree between Bible Word Study Guide (187) and Bible Search (200).
-
Thank you for the suggestion. However, this word "ἰδού" has the meaning of Suddenly and CUV correctly translated this word to "忽然“ or "不料“。 In NASB, this word sometimes is not translated in English and therefore the NASB Interlinear does not have corresponded word to align. We use the data that are
-
Philip, Another set based on "behold" <Lemma = lbs/el/ἰδού> where it is supposed to be simply not translated like NASB, however, you have instead aligned it with other word(s). I thought the words I annotated in red circle are incorrectly aligned.
Scroll down to see the entries for assembly and congregation which should bring you up to the 114.
MJ, Thanks ... should have thought of scrolling down

Hi Logos, Another set of CUV RVI alignment issues, this time related to the word love (爱), I search for the root of love <Root = lbs/el/αγαπαω> and sort by results to identify alignment issues:

Hi Logos, I would like to suggest that you consider to include a "no equivalent" segment in the BWS Translation Wheel. You have already done it for Septuagint as shown below. Better still if you can provide a setting option to turn ON / OFF the "no equivalent" segment if that is feasible
-
Hi Logos, In Bible Word Study, simply click on the Center as highlighted, it is supposed to list all the 114 verses, instead it listed only the verses in the blue segment. I have tried it with other RVI, it is the same problem including the new Chinese CUV RVI. I am running Logos Bible Software 7.3 SR-2 7.3.0.0047 on macOS 10.12.2.

Hi Logos, May I know what is the underlining Original Language Text used for CUV Reversed Interlinear? Is there a easy way to compare and identify if there are differences between Original Text used in CUV RVI vs ESV RVI or NASB RVI? Thank you!
