Praying for you and Audra.

I'm getting repeated crashing in L7. I've tried starting with an blank layout, and it doesn't appear to be attached to a single resource. Logs are attached. 5488.LogosError.log 6787.LogosCrash.txt

I have found two problems when using the "find" function in books (ctrl + f). 1) Clicking the "down arrow" (next result) will find each occurrence, but clicking the "up arrow" (previous result), will periodically skip a result. For example, starting in Revelation1:1, typing "book of life" (without quotes) in the find box will move through Rev 3:5; 13

Daniel, My apologies. When you said "tree diagramming," I thought "line diagramming." I'm not sure what you specifically mean by "tree diagramming," so I can't say that Schreiner's book addresses it.
-
Daniel, Schreiner has an excellent section on diagramming in Interpreting the Pauline Epistles . Also, Kantenwein has a book specifically devoted to the topic, Diagrammatical Analysis . Kantenwein is cheaper, but Schreiner's book covers more ground and might be more useful in the long run. There are also some aspects of Kantenwein that I'm not a fan

My guess is that Accordance can do this in fewer steps than Logos, but it isn't too unwieldy as it is. 1: Right click a word in the GNT 2: Click on the lemma (green) 3: Choose Morph:"lemma name" on the left (may require scrolling down) (red) This will run a morphological search on the lemma in question in the prioritized Greek resource. At this point

-
Dan, Dave Hooton's second method will work for Bibles with reverse interlinears. Choose a "morph search" and input the following: lemma:ἐγώ BEFORE 1 WORDS lemma:ἐιμί. Also, using the "lemma:" command will allow you to simply type in transliteration and select the appropriate word from the dropdown box: lemma:egw BEFORE 1 WORDS lemma:eimi.

Where are they being saved instead?
-
Yes yes! That's great news Christian!

Vincent, Thanks so much for the detailed response! One of my favorite things about Logos as a company is that you guys do such a good job of giving thoughtful and thorough responses to questions that are asked. It really is appreciated. Keep up the great work!
-
Gilles, Did you read the responses by Logos in this thread?
-
I would love these!
-
This would be excellent!

Logos has nice keyboards designed to type in Greek and Hebrew. Not sure if they work with Windows 8. https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/windows/keyboards

Bah. Thanks. Right now I'm just working with a reduced layout so I can get work done. I'll fiddle with it later and see if the layout was corrupt or if there is a bad resource. Thanks for looking at it for me!
-
I've attached logs. I can open with a blank layout, but loading layouts leads to crashing. Any help would be appreciated! 5417.Logos Crash.zip

Thanks again!
