Our developers are not able to reproduce this crash. Has it reoccurred?
-
I've sent a link to this thread to the appropriate dept. One possibility would be to add another paragraph to the publisher's preface about the center-column applying to the print version only and where to find the cross references in the electronic version.

If you're typing 'AM Courseware' in the Library Find field or Command box, nothing will come up. Try entering one of these course titles: First Steps in the Christian Faith , The Good News , or Successful Soul-Winning .

I'm not able to reproduce this problem in 4.0c. Did it happen at all before you updated? Does it occur with any other resources? Have you made any changes to the Information panel Settings?
-
Thanks Dave This is starting to happen more frequently, when I open most resources. The attached log is for starting Logos with a blank layout and then just opening the NKJV bible - a similar error seems to be occurring. Do I need to do anything to draw this to the attention of the developers? 2388.Logos4.log Graham [/quote

Since there currently isn't a way to search for particular maps in Biblical Places, can you tell me which Place brings up that particular map? (Btw, this functionality is coming in the future.)
-
I don't know that this is a bug or a typo, as it appears to be more of a function of the particular morphology itself. For instance, if you hover over a word, which the BHS/WHM 4.2 designates as an 'adjective', in a Hebrew Bible with Andersen-Forbes morphology, it sees it as a 'noun' instead. Perhaps someone else with more knowledge about Hebrew morphology
My Default Font was set to Segoe UI - which, by the way, works fine for just about everything else. I think that might be what was causing the problem. But it does not change when I just set it to the Default font or the Default San Serif font. I actually have to set it to Times New Roman in order to get the arrows to show
This is the very first thing I did, and it was already checked yes.
From which resource are you copying text?
-
This time it was from the Believer's Bible Commentary, but I have copied quotations from many various resources over the years. I simply copy and paste into a note, and in L3 it would give the citation.
Are you choosing Selection then Copy from the right-click menu after selecting text? Or are you choosing Reference

Comparing the error in your crash log with reports in our bug database indicates the problem may be a faulty .NET installation. You might try uninstalling and reinstalling 3.5.1.
-
After spending most of the afternoon researching the process, uninstalling and reinstalling .NET 3.5 SP1 and .NET 3.0, nothing about the Logos 4 crash has changed. It still crashes after log-in.
The best thing to do at this point is to contact Customer Support. Our technicians have experiencing working on these types of issues

I'll report this, thanks.

Report submitted. Thank you. Update: This will be fixed in Beta 4.

There are two ways to remove the highlighting in this case. One is to select all the text where highlighting exists and press Ctrl+Shift+K to erase (easier if it's all in one section or chapter, of course). Another way is to deselect the "No Palette" highlighting visual filter in the resource, which is created when highlighting is applied to a non-existent

This will be fixed in 4.0c SR-2, which is due out this week.

There appear to be some other issues when pasting as plain text. I'll add this to the case. Thanks. Update: This will be fixed in Beta 4.
