Don't you think it should also be toggled on when opening a resource from a Note file?
It's possible that with the change in 4.5 the behavior in previous versions should be reconsidered. I'll include the suggestion in the previously-mentioned report.
-
What do you mean by "depending"?
Depending on whether the resources you're searching include highlighting, or whether your searching a personal book. Since you indicate in your second post that you applied custom highlighting to the ESV and TDNT, I assume your search includes those resources, and I will continue to
1. Can't search a resource by Palette/Style when it contains Highlights. This used to be on the field drop-down (All Text or All Bible Text).
I still see Palettes/Styles on the All Text drop-down depending on what resource(s) I'm searching in. Was your Search limited to a particular resource that doesn't contain highlighting
-
Are you also not able to open the Tyndale Bible Dictionary from your Library? If not, close Logos 4 and delete the book file, TYNBIBDCT.logos4. Then reopen Logos 4 and wait for the book to redownload or enter Update Resources command.

I haven't been able to reproduce the crash so far with any of my Notes documents and your repro steps, but I will submit your report and logs to development. Follow up: Can you repeat the crash every time? If so, does it occur when working Online? Does it occur when trying to open any Notes document?

I can confirm that the Notes document visual filter is toggled on as expected when applying Highlighting in 4.5 Beta 1, but is not toggled on when Notes are added to a Selection or Reference. This has been reported.
Has this been fixed yet? Pretty Please
See my reply above, but change 4.3 to 4.5. It hasn't been forgotten though.
Calibri
Not all the English Default Fonts support the Hebrew characters used in the book titles in the BHS, including Calibri. I will report this. You will find that the Hebrew will be displayed correctly if the Defaul Font is changed to 'Default', 'Default Sans Serif', 'Times New Roman' or other font. Note: This problem

It means that there is Large Text, but the eye cannot detect instances that fail the criteria for Large Text; the source is not uniform in its application of font size to what appears to be "headings".
Thanks Dave for the response. I will pretend that i have understood what you have written,
-
Thanks. We'll look in this.
-
It appears that it's failing to find the hits that are at the end of the headings in that book. In addition to the one Dominick cited, a Search of 'unsaved' fails to find the instance at the end of the #1029 heading, but does find it in the middle of the #1030 heading (and others). I will report this bug. Thanks. Edit: I should add that the problem
Sigh... I hope that the fact there are two open positions in Quality Assurance will mean soon there'll be an end to this sort of thing happening with nearly every new resource release.
Series metadata has been added to both sets and the versions have been updated. Restart your computers and you will see the change
-
Yet again the series field of the metadata is not entered for the two multivolume sets in this collection.
Addition of series metadata is being reviewed for the three “The Colloquies of Desiderius Erasmus” resources and the three “The Epistles of Erasmus” resources.
Here is it. I started Logos, selected some text in the ESV, and applied the Orange Highlighter highlight. It took 30 seconds this time for the highlight to appear.
The developer who has been looking into this has found that the problem occurs when applying a custom image markup, especially with very large images
-
I believe development is looking into this already, but I will make sure a bug report has been filed. Todd - Could you attach a new log after reproducing the delay with Beta 2 installed? Thanks.
-
'SolidColorBrush' is referenced several times prior to the exception. I'm not sure whether that is one of your styles or referencing something else. I will let development know the problem is still occurring after the sync error fix. Does the crash occur while you are changing the note color? Does it crash right after the color drop-down displays, or

A request to broaden the auto-complete matches for BWS word entry beyond those found in the preferred Bible
Melissa, It is not a request as BUGS have been identified wrt words in the Preferred bible e.g. Azazel is listed for the NET bible but why is it not listed for NLT?
My understanding
-
Hi Melissa :) Thank you so much for your Feedback :) I have sent the files labeled "Visual Markup" to the address provided. Look forward to hearing from you again! :) Sincerely, Douglas
Thanks. We've received the file and sent it on to development.

You should see some additional notes on your File menu with titles like "Highlighter Pens" for the palette names where your migrated pre-4.5 highlights are stored. So, if your Yellow Highlighter was from the "Highlighter Pens" system-defined palette, you'll find the note in that Note document. If you had a custom style called "Yellow Highlighter" it

The text color is now persisted in 4.5 Beta 1; however, there is still a known issue in that the Font Styling color picker button doesn't function in the Mac version until the new style is saved. I've added the known issue to the release notes.
