  • Re: Anyone moved to Samsung Galaxy note?

Another great logos type usage is I downloaded my Morris Procter training videos to my note. I added a 64GB SD card so I have plenty of space for all of them. I can set the Note along side my PC with Logos running and followbthebtraining videos. So cool!

I tried Calibre and found it did not transfer graphics and it could not handle tables. Here is note from their WEB site: PDF documents are one of the worst formats to convert from. They are a fixed page size and text placement format. Meaning, it is very difficult to determine where one paragraph ends and another begins. calibre will try to unwrap paragraphs

  • Recommendation of PDF Converter

I have been playing with the Personal Book builder. I am using the Wondershare PDF Converter to go from PDF to Word docx files. I am encountering problems with messed up margins and faulty table conversions. So, I think I need to explore other options using a different PDF converter. Can anyone suggest one that seems to do a great job? I can print out

Great idea! I went one step further and used Calibre to convert the PDF (output by Word) to epub format. Syncing with iTunes was able to place it into iBooks so that you can highlight the text (PDFs can't be highlighted iBook). I wanted access to 2 Cornithians commentary by J Vernon McGee. The Thru the Bible series is not available on the iPad/iPod

Yeah, I agree about the snap being at the top. It does help you remember where the power button is located! The "leather" is a little thick, but I feel this adds protection if your drop your precious baby! The deal also included a screen protector which makes this price even better. I just discovered you can't post a reply using the iPad. You don't

  • Re: More options for appearance

Just got my iPad and noticed right away that when reading a Bible there is no status bar at the top with the translation and book shown. This would be very handy! The same is true when reading a book as there no display of the book title and author.
