I hope there will be... would be interested.
-
I'm sorry to have to say this out loud again: Why are you making this little new "feature" (that doesn't seem very useful) so obscure to find and so hard to activate? Is there a bigger secret plan behind this?
-
I see it now. I had to restart Logos. I agree it's hard to find, and the result is underwhelming.
-
I pressed "Follow" on that group's page... is that the same as joining it? The group seems to have no other useful content. I do see the "Today in History" section on Factbook, just not on Home page.
-
I don't have that option. I already joined the relevant FL group.
-
I still don't see it... I only have Excerpts, From Your Library, and Verse of the Day turned on in the Explore section.
-
I've been updated to 9.2 Beta 1 but I don't see the following. Can you please give steps or examples how to see these new features? Factbook Added a Today in Christian History section keyed to the Day of the Year. Added a date subtitle to Timeline Events. Add a Recommended Reading section for Lexham Systematic Theology references. Add a Systematic Theologies

It seems that it's one or the other. I think on the panels that can be touch-scrolled, it's almost impossible to touch-select text. On the panels (like Factbook) that can touch-select text, it can't touch-scroll. :-(
-
Mine is still Logos ebook edition.
-
I have Four Views on Hell Second Edition in both Logos (ebook) and Amazon (US). They both contain the full First Edition. Logos.com currently only carries the First Edition but no longer the Second Edition. Not sure why. Faithlife?
-
Confirmed... on Windows 10. Other guides and Bible/book screens can be scrolled by touch (finger). But not the new Factbook screen. When you touch/scroll it, it simply selects the text.
-
Oh I see now... The "Select" button is only available if you choose the "Library" icon on the bottom of the screen next to the "Home" button. It is NOT available when you press "+" from the "Tabs" view to add a new tab.
-
Before we call Tech Support, can someone from FL please comment on whether "updating library catalog" happening on program startup is normal, expected behavior, or abnormal behavior? I also have the Library as one of the tabs in my default layout, and I often go to it first at program startup.
-
[quote user="Levi Durfey"] I agree that the buttons are too small. The workaround (especially if you have several books to download) is to: 1) Tap "Select" in the upper left of the library. 2) Select the books you want to download (using the nice big, easy to tap, circles on the left!) 3) Tap the three-dot icon in the lower right. 4) Tap "download"
-
I don't have those two sections either... are you also running Logos 9 on Windows?
-
Also: Why does it need to update the catalog everytime the program is restarted?
-
Should I create a new one for the web app?
-
Thanks Daniel. Please do the same for Web App as well. Peter
