Even when the CUV (Chinese Union Version) is set as my preferred Bible, F7 seems to only show my other top English Bibles only. Also reported this to logos4support@logos.com. Peter

I'm sorry, Jeremiah and Judy. I should have tried it myself first before suggesting it. I've dragged other commands to the shortcut bar and it works beautifully. This might be a new bug. I think we should not drag anything to the shortcut area until Logos responds. I suspect it might not be restricted to just the Passage Analysis / Compare Pericope

Oh now I have to decide whether to ask to undo my upgrade. I upgraded from Leaders to Scholars mainly to get this tool. I don't know how to use most of the other original language resources anyway. For those who can use it in the Leaders library by typing in the command box: - Did you know that you could drag the command to the Shortcut bar and set

Are layouts (named and unnamed/recent layouts) synch'ed from one computer to another? The latter don't appear to be.

I think we also need a Street Language Version (SLV), a Revised Street Language Version (RSLV), and a New Revised Street Language Version (NRSLV)...
-
Oh Judy - if that's the case I shouldn't have spent the $220 upgrading from Leaders to Scholars... I didn't really need all those extra resources (I don't know Greek and Hebrew) but thought the extra Passage Analysis tools would be worthwhile... oh well...

Hi Peter, My Max Lucado Lifeworks Library and eBible books from Thomas Nelson seem to have come over to Logos 4 successfully with no issues. PBB support will be added back to Logos 4 sometime next year, and improved (will use standard Logos format, I believe). Hope this helps. Peter

Rob, this is totally hilarious! Thanks! If you're a preacher I want to come hear you preach :) Peter

When trying to prioritize my commentaries, I noticed that the Opening Up commentaries are not treated as a series. I tried creating a collection for them but I still can't prioritize them as a series. Is this anything we can do to make L4 recognize certain books as a Series in the Prioritize window? Thanks Peter

The Passage Analysis tool is under the Tools menu. I had to upgrade from Leaders to Scholars in order to get it. Peter

Hi Philip, This works, thanks very much for putting this together! Using Excel filters, it shows that when I upgraded from Leaders to Scholars, I would add 73 resources. But when I did the upgrade last night, my Library resource count went from 672 to 809, a gain of 137. Interesting. Thanks again. Peter

Hi Philip, I was not able to download this... the link opens as a zip file with multiple subfolders and xml files. Can you try attaching it as an attachment here? There's a filmstrip icon on the Compose toolbar (middle of toolbar, two in front of the smiley face icon) which might allow you to attach and upload a document. Thanks! Peter

Left and right arrow keys to cycle through available Bibles and commentaries still work!

Believe it or not, I've been running Logos 4 on a 2-3 year-old Fujitsu Lifebook 2-lb tablet PC, with 512MB RAM (!) and 160GB hard drive. Performance is a bit sluggish (not as snappy as my larger laptop -- 2GB RAM, Win7), but I do the following to compensate/survive: - Run downloads and indexing overnight - Turn off all sections in the Passage Guide

Yes, give it some more time. You may not end up loving it but it does help you discover resources (and hopefully biblical insights) that you may not even know has been sitting in your library all this time. As with the above posters, I was also a beta test convert. :)

Now that Read Aloud is officially a feature of Logos, may I request that as part of the book rebuilding process, that you add a step to check for major issues that may be causing problems with Read Aloud throughout the resource file? For example, if you read aloud in the NLT, I've noticed at least these two problems everywhere: - The first letter after

Home Page: - The scripture references on the Home Page are hyperlinks, and you can hover your mouse over to see the Bible passage. - To make the Home Page go away and go back to your study windows, click the Home Page button again (both the Home Page button and the Library button are toggle buttons -- it wasn't obvious to me at first). This is a great list. Thanks all! Peter

Hi Logos Team, I know you all are busy enough , but can you put an Excel version of the package comparison chart on Logos.com (including the Portfolio edition please, since some of us can't see it), so that it's easier to compare, sort, filter, and count? Thanks in advance! Peter
