Stuart, If that is the only computer you have L4 on, you might not want it to be loading the beta. Sooner or later there is a good chance that will bite you. If you can fall back on L3, no problem. If you want to get out of the beta, you can: set update channel to default. The bad news, I bet if you do this, it downloads at least 34.8 mb again, and

I need to find a place to "argue" or "chew on" what some of you said and mean in a few of your posts, and here is not the place to do this. A little back and forth would be good for me to continue work this out - again here is not the place. I've used much of what you have said, and resources you have said to search, and I feel better about this - not

Wow, watched american idol, got back on here, now I am way behind. Going to take me awhile to process everything written. It's good to see how others are dealing with, or maybe avoiding this question. Whoever asked if I was really interested - yes, I was never trying to start anything - I am not stepping in to any argument, just wanted some direction

[quote user="Keith Larson"] Michael, All the suggestions you have gotten so far are really good ones, the only thing I could add is to suggest you get into the habit of questioning your own pre-supposition's as well. For example: "Does a loving God love everyone the same way?" "Does God really have everyone's best interest at heart?" "Is anger incompatible

Hesitant to say thank you yet, because I would like even more input and thank you might infer that I'm all settled on this. But thank you all for your input. Good input on the searches, and books, all things I had not touched yet.

  • Angry God

(stretching the forum guidlines, if this gets deleted, I understand) I'm studying God's grace, and the question of God's anger has been coming up. Below are 2 resources from L4 - one a book quote, one a list from a search. The question - can a loving God that has my best interest at heart really be angry enough to pour his anger out on a person or group

I use notes for some personal bible study, I just like to see my highlight and comments and questions as I read, and then review scripture - takes the place of that rebound leather copy. All my other notes have been in onenote, but it started to do weird things when syncing, creating multiple copies of pages (using windows live sync), so I moved all

If you have the files, then if you find one of the threads that tell how to copy L4 from one computer to another, you should be able to use that. It involves copying c:/user/yourname/appdata/local/logos4/ files from the old hard drive to the new (find the thread, it's much more detailed). If those files don't exist, you'll have to download the whole

Just a thought - I run a business, and I am a person. When someone calls me, and treats me like a person, I am sure they get a much better response out of me then if they treat me like a business. I'd like to respond kindly and lovingly to those who call and treat me poorly, I try, but ... but am not always successful. My point - businesses and people

Thought that was kind of funny too. Since this is the extension of that thread, maybe someone can explain what a couple of the fixes mean. I played with the notes and figured out the rest, but just don't understand what these fixes are talking about. Context menu Add note now respects the selected tab to influence note attachment.
