Graça e paz. Aqui você tem o verbete אֶרֶץ ("terra") no abridged : אֶרֶץ n.f. & (seld.) m. earth, land — 1. a. earth, whole earth (opp. to a part). b. earth, opp. to heaven, sky. c. earth = inhabitants of earth. 2. land = a. country, territory. b. district, region. c. tribal territory; and still smaller territories. d. piece of

Olá. Acho que um primeiro passo é tentar descobrir se o problema só está acontecendo no aplicativo Windows ou se é uma falha geral de autenticação. Você talvez queira instalar o app no seu smartphone ou mesmo testar a versão para navegadores pelo link abaixo: https://app.logos.com/

  • Re: Advice wanted - priority order for lexicons

It will always depend on who you are. If you're a beginner who just wants quick answers, Swanson will surely do it for the Bible, and you could use the more specialized lexica only when you need. If you're a beginner who checks everything or is somewhat sceptical about lexicographers, you cannot skip the analytic Bible lexica to get the idea of the

Hi! Different from CAL Lexicon, Jastrow is half Late Hebrew, half Aramaic. Anyway, I should have written all the details, lapsus calami . Thank you! :)

  • Re: Limit Text Width

Hi. Here's another option. This is how to do it if you want: 1. Open the book. 2. Ctrl+F11 (or right-click the book menu bar and select "Open in a floating window"). 3. This is all. If the book opens in a window maximized to full screen, you can always click the window "restore size" icon (on the right top corner of the menu bar).

Hi. Perhaps you'll want to establish how much Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek you already know since the beginner lexicons aren't always so helpful in the eyes of a seasoned scholar. The next step is to consider your focus or the particular project you are working on (for instance, MT versus DSS, NT versus Migne), and here the choices seem to be a little

A paz de Cristo, Hugo. Infelizmente eu não conheço no Logos uma solução tão elegante e rigorosa quanto a que encontraríamos em uma ferramenta dedicada à exegese (como o saudoso BibleWorks). O que posso fazer é lhe apresentar três caminhos diferentes que levam a resultados também diferentes

Surely. But there's nothing special here; this is only a free translation to express the general meaning (no formal rigour intended).

  • Re: How to Search for Qualitative—Contra Definitive—Force of θεὸς in John 1.1c?

While I agree that "Unitarian" is one of those words that have different meanings at different times, I think the author has used the term in a more general sense, like this one: "Unitarianism — A movement that denies the Trinity, believes there is only one God, and denies Jesus was divine. They prize reason and experience over Scripture and doctrine
But I am not a grammar scholar!
The grammar here says that as a rule the article is not used with the predicate noun, even when the subject is definite, as in John 1:1c and John 8:54 (this rule doesn't apply when the noun is the subject of the sentence like in 2 Corinthians 5:19 and Philippians 2:13, or is in the middle

Dear Logos developers: Would you be kind enough to forget the lossy image compression of your choice (e.g. JPG) and use some lossless format on the Carta projects (e.g. PNG) instead? And could you please order the master lossless files from the publisher? Thank you very much, indeed.
