I tried using the local location as the web address, hoping that would do the trick. no dice.

I like this. But, what if I am "offline?" I can try to create a tether with my phone, but would prefer to have it loaded up before. The stuff is already in Dropbox locally, would it still work?

  • Animated GIFS

I working on stuff for an upcoming science camp through the church I serve. I have a few animated images of the brain I'd love to use (a spinning .gif for different parts of the brain). Any thoughts on how to get these to animate?

  • Re: "massive update failure"

Iowa, The complete fresh install was something I only had to do one or two times...even since the days of the Mac Alpha. ***shudders*** It's not too much of a pain, but it's nowhere near as bad as trying to fix registry errors in Windows! :D

Iowa et all, I’ve been off the forums for a couple of years (focused on a lot of other things) and needed some quick info regarding Proclaim and Notes and stumbled across this particular post. I’m a long time Logos user (introduced to it in 96 and bought my own in 02-ish). I’ve slowly upgraded from a Pastor’s Library (or Leader’s Library…whatever it

I have been using Proclaim since it came out...I was even with one of the first churches to test it while in closed beta. Allow me to preface my question with this, the only area I typically have responsibilities for involves the sermon slides. :D While I'm a long time Logos user, I'm not a Proclaim power user. Until recently I have never displayed

  • Re: Remote Follow/Mirror

Yes! This is what I'm looking for...but not necessarily a "remote follow." I'm thinking more of a virtual bulletin styled sermon notes insert. If the congregation I serve could get access to the on screen point(s) and possibly even jot notes themselves for later retrieval...this would be HUGE!

  • Re: Sermon Notes - For Congregation

I'm looking for this very feature now. I would love to see the "point(s)" of a sermon, a quote, along with Bible references able to be shared with the mobile devices in the church. They don't have to be broadcast all at once, but as cast if they could "build" a single file (each signal adds to one file or note they can access offline later)...maybe

  • Re: Supported OS X Versions

Yeah, I can not update my software so I'm now needing to upgrade my hardware...not simply "because" of Logos, but several other software updates that have been pushed out are no longer friendly to OS 10.6.8. My Macbook is from 2008, so it was just a matter of time. Looking forward to the update and upgrade and the functionality it will bring.

Not sure if SBL is the only formatting style that had issues. SBL is pretty intensive though. I'm not sure but I believe the examples above may be missing some italics as well.

  • Re: Audio Problem

Finally got the Audio to work in Proclaim. I have no clue how it happened. It now works...but I still need to figure out how to adjust volume controls per app in Win8.

  • Re: Audio Problem

I still have been unable to track down where I can control the audio for an individual application in Windows 8. I don't use this machine much...just our presentation machine. I actually do the work on Mac. I don't need sound this week...but any advice would be wonderful as there are a couple video clips with sound I'd like to use soon. I have searched

  • Re: Layout bounce: a bug?

I'm also having a unique "bounce". When I load Logos (loads the homescreen and not last used screen) and select a specific Layout the program minimizes. I can pull it back up so it's no big deal, just odd to see it do this.

The current work around for Roger's computer was creating a secondary Window's Log-in. He or I could really use some help getting Proclaim on the primary Widows user working again. (Great call Greg on the second user!) Can we completely remove any trace of Proclaim from the primary user? He used a third party un-installer because Windows wouldn't do

I'm considering using this in the next week or so and I think it's great you can see how many people are following/connected the service. Is it possible to see how many "followed" the service after the fact? Thanks!

I'll get the logs tomorrow, as I was not thinking before church (kind of focused on the sermon) when I submitted the OP.

I went to Roger's house and attempted to get it going for him. No dice. I was wondering if it could in anyway be connected to a corrupted Microsoft Security Essentials download. He was recently dl'ing and the power went out. It's stuck (for now) and won't install. I realize this is not a Windows help forum, but I'm just posting what I saw on the computer

  • Re: Audio Problem

Yeah, it works fine from my Mac (which is where I built the presentation). It works on my home PC (Win7). It doesn't work on the Church Machine (Win8). Other sound works fine though...just Proclaim. I'm wondering if this is a reinstall and try again. It was brought to my attention today that the sound stopped working 2 weeks ago, but since we don't
