Attempted the work around and it crashed...here are logs. 0143.LogosLogs David Buckham 20110330-120145.gz Hope we get an update soon. This is the first time since the first Alpha Logos for Mac (the Libronix based pre 4 version) has been completely unusable for me. In the mean time, if anyone from Logos would allow me to get in on a certain Android test

Ok, I did it again. My search was for Matthew 6:5-15 (but that shouldn't affect it much ) 4135.LogosLogs David Buckham 20110330-094545.gz Thanks Keep Smiling. Hope that helps.

It is from the Home Screen. On a side note, I wish the forums worked smoother on my Droid. The pop up reply is a killer...

  • Logos 4 B3 crash doing simple search

I type in Matthew 6:5-13 and hit go and it, well, it goes...but not the way I want or need. The program crashes but doesn't give me the crash/report this screen. I repeated it three times. It seems different (and yet the same) than the layout crash describe in a couple of other threads. Logos Version: Logos Bible Software 4.3 Beta 1 (4.30.0.0130) OSX

  • Logos site and RefTagger

I was searching for a certain sermon illustration I once heard about fellowship (found it, by the way) and noticed that RefTagger is not active on the Logos Sermon pages. I found that odd. The scriptures have links to Biblia, which is fine, but why would Logos not use RefTagger on it's own site?

[quote user="Ryan Hamre"]Logos can't assume most iOS users will have these updates, since in order to apply these updates, the users have to pay money for the update, or pay a constant usage fee. • Re: Logos 4 Mac. . . VERY POOR PERFORMANCE

This is my last post on this topic. You can have the final word if you must but I completely disagree with you on this instance in Philippians. The letter is specifically addressed "to all the saints in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons" (NASBu and NASB are the same here). "All" is everyone. "Including" is in addition to overseers and deacons

There is a lot to be concerned with gender neutral Bibles but we also need to realize there are gender neutral/gender plural words that are still defined by a singular gender. I learned a long time ago, and you've probably heard this principle too, that gender does not equal the definition. Take the letter to the Philippians, for instance. Is it only

Where has the forum gone?!? I thought it was about Logos 4 Mac and it's performance issues. Maybe I am misreading here, but is there a such thing as a Bible translation that doesn't have cultural influence or bias? That's what a translation is, otherwise wouldn't we all be reading a Greek/Hebrew(Arabic) Bible? Then which original language text do we

My Chrome issues were on both Windows XP and I believe they also occurred on my Max OS X machine. As I mentioned I was using the Stable build on XP till recently and I have had NO problems on the XP machine since I updated to the Dev build of Chrome. My Mac is using the Dev build of Chrome with no problems recently. Just thought I would reiterate that

I am running a fall 2008 MacBook 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB RAM. Not the machine that many have. My harddrive is the basic 5400 RPM. I was actually looking at a 7200/SSD Hybrid. Just the 7200 should see a boost in speed. With all that said, just my opinion here so don't flame me too hard, I think the speed issue is really just a user experience

Still wasn't loading this morning so I updated to the Dev Channel and the Logos site is working again. I also saw today that someone was having problems replying in forums with Chrome. I have had this happen to me. I use Chrome on Windows and Mac and have had problems on both. Mac has been Dev Channel for over a year now...maybe even two years. Windows

  • Re: Logos website and Chrome

Yeah, 10 is the dev channel. Logos.com functions fine in other browsers so it's not router/firewall/internet issues, which is what I first thought it was. So I'm not sure. I will change to the developers channel if you think that would work, but first I would love to hear if anyone else on the beta channel is having problems. Although, it should work

I primarily use Chrome as my browser of choice. Currently I am running 9.0.597.83 Beta of the browser. I can't get the Logos website to load. While I realize I am running a beta browser and there are occasional stability issues, I just changed to beta yesterday. Before I would have occasion times when I couldn't get the browser to load. Anyone else
