With all the security confers and mining of data maybe we should stop posting in these forms and unplug everything from the internet just to be safe I work in the IT filed and know about security. While Google and Facebook do use you data to make money Logos does not use your data and the EULA pretty clearly states they cannot share your data without

With a Mac you can record your screen with Quicktime and with iMovie you can do some annotations. Something specifically designed for making video tutorials is Screenflow. Camtasia Studio is another editing software. if you didn't want to pay there is always Jing. it's a free version but is somewhat limited. The people I know who have used Screenflow

Sorry but I can't see paying that much for an Encyclopedia that as published in 1911. That is way out of date for a scientific resources.

Everyone's comparisons to Amazon and their book match is great but it only works on a Kindle. their format is proprietary so I can't read a Kindle book in iBooks or the Nook. it's still locked down and even though you are buying a licenses to the book you can't transfer it. While you can load PDF and EPUBS into most readers you loose functionality with

[quote user="Bill Anderson"][quote user="Nathan Parker"] Currently at church I carry ... note taking journal, ... My Samsung Note 8.0 on the other hand has an active Wacom digitizer and is great for taking notes. You'll love the

There already is a common format for ebooks that most software can read. it's called ebooks. If you buy a book from Amazon, B&N or Apple they all come in their property format to keep you in their eco system. If they used a common format for Bible Software resources you would need 1 standard for tagging. All the software companions would have to change

[quote user="Danny Clarkson"] Until PBB books are available within Logos on the Ipad, there is a good work around. You can read your PBB resource in iBooks, dynamically link to the Logos bible references or resources on the Ipad, then swipe back. Personal Book Builder on the Logos 4/5 desktop creates URL references such as logosref:BibleESV.Ps119.1

If you look in the panel menu for the videos in logos 5 you can download them.

Are any of your other books coming to Logos?

So far I've received the LT151, OT101 and BI101.

Miles, thanks. I would still like the thumbnails in the Videos collection view to show the titles. The way I have done the last couple is to watch the video on my iPad while following along in logos.

Why would you want to block https? the s is secure so any https site is a secure site. It use secure communication servers like your bank. If your worried about content blocking https isn't going to do much, just make more of headache when your trying to purchase something off the internet. have you tried adding https://logos.com?

Dylan, Here is the log. The video takes forever to load. I thought all our resources were downloaded but I guess this isn't the case for mobile Ed (which sucks, I spend a lot of time on planes with no internet). Once it does load sometimes it play properly, other times I get vide with no sound or a black screen with sound. if it does play correctly

Steve, I'm a Mac user and love Logos on Mac. One advantage of Logos is that once you purchase a base package you get both windows and Mac. So if you have both you could load it on both machines or just 1. Logos gives you a licenses that allows you to load it on any of your computers so your not stuck with just one. The also have iOS and Android apps

Sad but you have to add the tag. If you search for tag:fiction in the desktop app it will show you the ones with what I believe are the community tags. You would think that because it's in the Fiction genre on the Vyrso website it would have a default tag of fiction already assigned. I know some people might not like this but it's easy enough to remove
