You're right it was the bookstore that was the problem, as soon as I turned off it worked immediately. Thanks

  • Some factbook entries are unresponsive

I've been using the factbook recently to search on the concept of God as judge, but it never returns the search. It behaves the same when I click the factbook entry manually too. Most factbook entries work, but there are some others that behave the same way. Has anyone else experienced this, or can you suggest a solution? Thanks Neal
My pleasure. For what it's worth, if I had to do it again I would get the 16 GB, as well as the larger SSD. I just like giving the computer every opportunity to be efficient. I went with 8 because I could get it quickly; a 16 would have taken longer to get to me.
So after a bit more research (and many videos on

Thanks Gregory, that video is really helpful as is the discussion in the forum. 8GB might be enough to do what I need it to, I might spend the extra money on the SSD space instead. Thanks Neal

Tony, the next time you run Logos 9 on your 8GB Air, would you mind opening a reasonably complex Logos layout that you have or else just open some resources, and maybe open pages or Word or whatever word processor you use? Would you let me know how much memory that uses up in Activity Monitor? I'm really curious how close it is to the 8GB, if it is

  • How does Logos perform on mac m1 with 8MB RAM?

Hello all, I've been using Logos 9 on Windows for many years on a machine with 16GB Ram, but I'm considering buying a Macbook M1 Air with 8GB Ram and 512Gb SSD. Are any of you running Logos on this configuration and can you comment on how it performs with just 8MB of RAM? I actually didn't realise Logos had updated the recommended system requirements

  • [unresolved] BUG: Panel tabs have been cropped

I'm not sure if this has been reported yet, but once I installed the 6.2 release I can no longer see tabs correctly. I've attached a screenshot. The only way I can close the tab is by using the Cmd + W shortcut as the X to close is no longer visible. (This is in Logos 6.2 Mac) Thanks

  • Re: Seemingly random crashes after running minimal crossgrade

Thanks for your reply Tommy, the crash has been happening even more frequently now as I probably use bulleted lists quite a bit. I'll hold off using the notes feature until this has resolved. Aside from this problem, I have to say that I'm enjoying Logos 5 and I'm looking forward to the re-worked notes. God bless. Neal

Tommy, it crashed again, the same thing, while editing notes again and reading some lexicons. I've attached my logs and a screenshot of the layout. What I was doing to produce the crash was to cut some bulleted text from one note, and paste it into a bulleted list in another note (both notes within the same note file). Crash also occurs if I delete

Hi Tommy, as yet it hasn't crashed yet, but I'll try it again tomorrow and I'll let you know. I also use Logos on iOS. Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I do have Chrome on my system although it's not my default browser, I use Firefox. I sent an e-mail to the Logos support team with a link to my forum post, so hopefully I'll get a reply soon. Thanks

  • Seemingly random crashes after running minimal crossgrade

Hi, I've upgraded to Logos 5 for Mac this afternoon, and have been experiencing crashes, sometimes they appear to relate to opening the Bible Sense tool and other times they are occurring when editing notes. I've typed Update Now and Update Resources into the command bar to verify that all data is up to date, but I wonder if I'm missing something. I

  • Notes performance on Logos5 for Mac

I'm currently considering upgrading to Logos 5 for Mac, but I'm curious to know how people have found using Notes in Logos 5. I use them sometimes in Logos4 Mac but it crashes periodically (particularly when you use bullets in your notes). Is this any more stable in version 5? Thanks Neal

  • Re: ********** 10 released

It does look interesting and yes it seems very fast. For me, the main deciding factor is what resources are available. There are so many choices in terms of commentaries and other resources in Logos which Accordance can't really match. Also the prices are very competitive. On the negative side, I just wish that the mac version was faster, and a bit

  • Page number indexing query

Hello all, I was thinking of buying the Millard Erickson Christian Theology book ( http://www.logos.com/product/3620/christian-theology-2nd-ed), but I want to know if anyone else has it in their Logos library? If you do, can you tell me does it have a page number index on the resource? I know not all of my Logos resources do have page numbers, but it

  • Re: Notes - Annoying!!!

I wish there was better information about an estimated date for the next scheduled release, and at least a teaser of what it might contain. Notes and performance seem like two of the biggest issues.

  • Missing page numbers on some resources

Logos is brilliant for researching essays for Bible college, but I've noticed that page numbers are missing from some resources (which makes it difficult for me to quote them as sources). I realise that not all resources have page number indexes on them, but at any point will these be updated in the future? The one I'm looking at in particular is the
