Hello, Thanks for the new Notes Editor. So far it works very well and I'm thankful to see improvements are already planned. I've noticed one glitch. If I add any text formatting while typing (bold, italic, underline) and then type an apostrophe (or quote mark) then the editor automatically cancels the text formatting without any further interaction

From release notes: Resource Navigation Resources with Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic headwords can now be navigated using untransliterated words (I.e. g:logos). From me: Thank-you... very much! Sometimes it's the little things that count for a lot.

From the 7.4 Beta 2 release notes: Add smart text replacement. The following patterns are automatically replaced by the editor. The Undo command will restore the original text if the replacement is not desired. Straight single and double quotes are replaced with smart quotes. Two dashes are replaced with an emdash. Three dots are replaced with an ellipsis
Tab and Shift+Tab can also be used to control indent level.
Can you also please include this keyboard shortcut (Tab & Shift-Tab) to control indent level in the Notes Editor . I often wish for it in the Notes Editor because I'm so used to having it in MS Word, that I hit tab, without thinking, hoping

The new range selector to limit the section of the Bible in which the user is searching is so much better than the old one. Thank-you! It's small but significant changes like this that make a big difference on the regular use of the program every day. Keep up the great work.

Hi, I updated to Logos 6.7 RC 1 today and everything went fine. However, the splash screen when the program begins is noticeably bigger on my laptop screen (1920 x 1080) than it was in 6.6... almost distractingly big. Is this the way it is supposed to be or did something go wrong? (As an aside, I restarted my computer just to make sure everything was

I agree... wholeheartedly.

Dear Bradley & Logos team, I just switch to Logos 6.6, and I'm very thankful to report that the issue of the delay in displaying ranked search results is solved. I didn't see a reference to this fix anywhere in the release notes (although perhaps I missed it). However, the important thing is that it is fixed. Now ranked search results begin to display

Hi Bradley, Here's another clue to the Delayed Search Results puzzle which may help you. If we stay with the same example as in the screencast, that is, searching for "Bucer", then Logos functions in a slightly different way in each of the following two scenarios: Search for "Bucer" with the results display set for " By Resource". As mentioned previously
-
OK, I hope you're able to come up with a solution. That would be great.
-
OK. I figured out the screencast. Below are two of them to compare and contrast. A few things worth noting: Both searches are done in my Reference collection, which is a group of key dictionaries and encyclopedias that I commonly use. It has a total of 57 resources in it, so it's not an overly large collection. Each time I did the search immediately
-
Sure, I'd be more than willing to do that. What's the best way to do it? I haven't really done a screencast before, but I suppose it's not hard to learn.

This issue could also be posted in the General Logos forum because it is still there in 6.4 which has now been released. However, since the discussion started in this forum ( https://community.logos.com/forums/t/101889.aspx ) I thought I would continue it here. I am still experiencing a delay in the display of certain search results. I should immediately
This is not fixed in Beta 3
Do others have the same experience of Fred, i.e., that it's not fixed? Or did Beta 3 improve things for some? Please note, going by the release notes, it seems to be a Windows only issue. I'm not on the 6.3 Beta right now, but I am eager to see this issue resolved because I run into it every

Hi Rosie, I think this is the other thread you're looking for: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/101889.aspx I wonder how widespread this problem is. Does everyone on Windows experience this delay in displaying search results? Or is it only people with a certain configuration? Or a certain size of library? The reason I ask is that if everyone on
-
I, too, have noticed this delay and spoken to someone in tech support about it. As you say, it is only with the Basic search and not with the Bible search. Hopefully, they will come up with a solution soon for it introduces a frustrating lag in the general workflow.

Hello, I reported a crash here in this thread and in the end we more or less concluded that the cause was some corruption in one of my layout, but as it turns out I think the issue is actually quite a different matter. For this reason I'm starting a new thread. I hope that's within the bounds of forum etiquette but I simply want to ensure that the issue
-
Bradley, I hope you're still following this thread because I think I understand what's happening. I setup an entirely new layout, but the crash still happened again. Then the difference between my layout and a fresh new search window struck me. In my layout I have that search window set as the target ("Send searches here" option is on). However, if

Important Update! Hello again, I tried something else. The search window that I have been launching the "crashy" Search Everything has been a standard part of the layout that I've been using for a long time. I decided to close that Search window, and start with a fresh new Search window. I did exactly the same Search Everything for "Redeem". Not only
-
Hi Bradley, Well, we're making a little headway. I went to the Search History and clicked on various previous Bible Searches and everything went OK until I clicked on one that said "Redeem | Everything" and then it crashed before it even got around to displaying any search results. Now the interesting thing is that if I try that very same search, but
