• PNTC - The Future of Eph, Phil, Heb?

Hi all, So as I am sure you all know the Eph, Phil, and Heb editions of the Pillar NT Commentary were pulled as a result of the plagiarism investigation into Peter O'Brien. It has been over 4 years since this information broke. We recently received a revised 'Letters of John', does anyone know if there are plans for revised Eph/Phil/Heb commentaries

  • In Praise of the 30% Discount

I wanted to take a moment to say 'thank you' to FaithLife for the recent 30% sale on base packages. The deep discount coupled with dynamic price enabled me to purchase Logos Gold - my first base package since Scholar Library back in 2010. If you picked up a base package in this sale, why not take a moment to say 'Thank you'? From all that I've heard

This is really interesting, thanks Bruce. Out of interest, is there anyway to calculate the savings on the next tier up? ie. if I purchase bronze how much will then save on silver? cheers, Liam

  • Re: Digital Church Library
We don't plan to continue to offer it as a paid subscription after the free access expires. At this point we are just trying to find a way to help churches get resources to their members while they cannot gather together in person.
Thanks for the speedy clarification and stunning generosity. I love

  • The Quran w/ Christian Commentary - possible issue

Hi All, So for some reason, the Sura links in the Commentary resource doesn't open the corresponding Sura in the Quran text portion of the resource. Instead, it opens the Persius Resources version of the Quran. From what I can tell I have not prioritised the Persius resource and prioritising the QWCC has no effect either. Is anyone else having this

  • HELP: Anchoring a note to non-bible reference?

Hi all, Is it possible to anchor a note to a reference (not selected text) in a resource that isn't a bible? For example, can I anchor a note to Chapter 1.7 of the Westminster confession so that the note appears at the same place in all the version of the confession that I own? Thanks in advance, Liam
Mat 22:14 has the words [in English] “For many are invited, but few are chosen” Need help in the Greek – Is there any possibility that the reading could be ‘’’’For all are called but few choose [ to answer ]””
Hey David, fwiw, when I have questions like this I take them to the Biblical Hermeneutics Stack exchange site

  • Re: Matthew 24:3 in a Modern Greek Bible Translation
It is a question of whether the word συντέλεια implies a period of time or whether it simply means “end.” There are some contexts in ancient texts outside of the Bible where it is used interchangeably with the word τέλος (“end”). I am interested to know how Greek-speaking people understand the word συντέλεια at Mt 24:3 . [/quote
