• Re: syntax videos for L4

Thanks, Kevin. That did the trick. But how in the world does someone figure out that you have to type "@" in order to get the drop-down menu? It seems a bit user mean, no?

Thank you, Rosie. And yes, I did change my login email address. I guess that's why.

  • syntax videos for L4

Does anyone know of any syntax search videos for L4? Specifically, what is the format for the morph specifications? It doesn't accept any of my terms (noun, genitive, singular, gen, sing, verb, etc.). Thanks. P.S. Why did the forums reset my post count?

Thanks, Dave. And yes, if anyone out there has methods for tracking new resources, please do tell!

  • automatic update/download contents

Is there a way to see the content of the automatic updates/downloads as they come? Is there a way to have L4 mark in some way, or give a notification of, the new resources that have been downloaded?

  • Auto fill and NASB concordance (two topics): suggestions and problems

NASB Concordance: The New American Standard Updated Edition Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible does not have a search box like it did in L3. This makes it makes it quite a hassle to get to the entry one is looking for. Rather than just typing "love" in the search box and having it take you right to the entry, one has to select first the beginning letter

  • Contacting Bob Pritchett

Does anyone know how I may contact Bob Pritchett, specifically by email? I'm sure he gets tons of emails daily, so does he actually read them. I emailed Dale a couple of weeks ago and have gotten no reply. Thanks.

  • Re: Tip of the Day

I second the motion. Tips of the day would be handy, though I would prefer that they put them on the home page since I tend to leave L4 open on my computer. Good idea! You should probably post this in the "suggestions" page of the forum.

  • Re: Greek audio Bible still doesn't work

Yeah. For some reason it works for some people and not for others. There are several of us who are having this issue. I've tried everything. Thanks.

  • Greek audio Bible still doesn't work

My L4 has updated to 4.0a, but the Gk audio Bible still doesn't work. I'm not sure if 4.0a was supposed to fix this; just wanted to let you know. Merry Christmas!

  • Re: Greek Audio Bible with Logos 4?
I'm curious if any other audio resources, such as the Logos Hymnal, work for you.
Good call! The hymnal doesn't work either. Same thing... the play box shows up but no sound. I guess I'll wait for the update. Hope that fixes it. Thanks a lot, Melissa.

  • Re: Greek Audio Bible with Logos 4?

Ok. I've tried it with NA27, NA27 interlinear, UBS4 and UBS4 interlinear. None of them work. With the NA27 resources the play box appears in the upper right, but no sound and I know that my sound is working fine. With the UBS4 resources I get the Windows voice that speaks gibberish. I also checked for the ELNT.lbxaud file in my L4 folder and it IS there

No worries; no offense taken at all. People overlook the most obvious things sometimes. Yes, the sound is working properly. I'm listening to music with itunes right now. Thanks anyway, guys!
Can you make sure you're in NA27 w/Apparatus? If not, what Greek resources do you have?
I don't have NA27 w/apparatus (not even sure why Logos offers them w/out the apparatus!!). I've got: Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, 27th Edition Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, 27th Edition with McReynolds English Interlinear

Thanks, Dave. Found the folder... the synopsis isn't there. Nor was it included with my upgrade (not cross-grade; my mistake). So how do I get it? Only Customer Service?

  • Greek Audio Bible

Hey there. Can anyone tell me why my Gk audio Bible isn't working on L4. My volume is up, I've done update resources several times, and when I click "read aloud" with NA27 the "play" box shows up at the upper right, next to "layouts", but no sound. Thanks.
