  • Re: Lists of Verses

Mark, after reading your last post, I thought that it might be helpful for you to know that you can also type in multiple passages into the Copy Bible Verses tool. It limits you to one version at a time, but you can switch versions without re-typing all your references.

Do you mean like this? It does accept more than one verse at a time, but not more than one passage at a time.

  • Re: How do I?

Just to be clear, the box you need to type the Bible version in is circled in red. If you type a Bible version into the box above it, the search results will disappear. It's interesting that yours shows the same number of hits, but only displays one verse...hmm.

  • Re: How do I?

In the box with "ESV" on the left edge of your screen you can type whatever version you want to display, for example, KJV or NIV, etc. You can also add more than one version by separating them by commas, for example, "ESV, NIV" Blessings

This will help with the differences between the two Greek texts: http://www.logos.com/support/lbs/na-v-ubs . As for your second question: it's mainly up to you and to your ability to discipline yourself to study. Lots of people have taught themselves Greek, Hebrew and other languages. Do you have a passion for it? Do you have an outlet for your Greek

The European swallow is estimated at about 10 or 11 meters per second. Source: http://www.style.org/unladenswallow/ There are some books that have page numbers imbedded in them and in those you can jump to a specific page. For example you can type "p256" in the reference box and go to that page (I just tried it with the New American Commentary on Matthew

You need to name the layout by clicking the pencil icon by each snapshot in the layout menu. Logos only syncs the layouts that you name.

  • Logos Hymnal MIDI links

I have noticed that the Logos Hymnal doesn't have working MIDI or scripture links in Logos4Mac like in the Windows version. However, if a hymn appears in the Passage Guide, the MIDI link works from there (nice little player, by the way). Any ideas on when the Hymnal links will be functional?

How's this David: 1. Deleted layouts.db 2. Restarted Logos 3. Opened Info Panel from Tools menu 4. Restarted Logos to check for bug — no bug 5. Opened KJV from Command line 6. Opened Bible Knowledge Commentary from Command line 7. Restarted Logos to check for bug — no bug 8. Dragged the info window to the position between the KJV and BKC, making three

  • Re: Info Window buttons location

I think it has to do with where on the screen I position the info panel. If it is on the right side (where it defaults to), there is no problem. But in my layout (which has been rebuilt from scratch a couple times now, with a fresh layouts.db), if I position the info panel in the middle top (as shown below), and restart Logos, then the bug occurs. That

Step 1: I make a layout with the info panel positioned as shown in the screenshot a few posts above. Step 2: When I restart Logos (for whatever reason) the buttons appear at the bottom of the panel. After a lot of trial and error (and restarts), I have found that it seems to only do it if the info panel is in the middle top position as shown. If I move

I didn't see your last post until after I posted: Clicking or dragging won't make it appear in the wrong location. It happens after restarting Logos or, sometimes, when I change layouts.

Okay, I did as you said and discovered the following: 1. It doesn't always do it when I change layouts, but always on restart. 2. It doesn't do it with a fresh layout with the info panel in the default position (on the right). 3. If I move the info panel to the right in my original layout, it works fine. I have Logos for Windows on VMware Fusion on

I only had the one basic layout, plus a few that were specific study sessions based on that basic layout. I renamed the layouts.db (before I read your response) and recreated my basic layout. Then I restarted Logos and the same problem occurred: the copy and settings buttons are at the bottom of the info panel. The info panel is the only panel this
