The iPad is a wonderful device. Logos for iphone/iPod Touch/iPad works the same, although it does work on the iPad without screen doubling, so that you get a very clear book reading experience. The program allows you to download books to the iPad (or iPhone or iPod Touch) for reading, so that you have offline reading ability
Most of what we're working on doesn't show well in screenshots.
Thanks. I am really liking the iPad and can't wait to see what you are adding. How big is the iPhone/iPad team?
The biggest disparity between the machines isn't raw horsepower, but development tools. I'm a Mac guy, through and through, but Visual Studio 2008 w/ ReSharper easily puts Xcode 3.2 to shame.
I second this. I have worked extensively in both environments (more so in VS though) and while XCode/IB has a certain elegance
Do/can you get the home page on the Ipad?
You get the same version of the home page that you get on the iPhone. It has your reading plans, devotionals, and news items. I find it only marginally useful and would rather the app opened to the reading view.

Thank you!
Robert, Are you running Windows as well as Mac? If so, what version are you running on the PC? Do you have an iPhone or iPad that you use as well to view resources? Just trying to figure out what usages patterns cause the recurring sync errors... Tom
All of the above. To complicate matters I have also run the first
Robert, On you snow leopard instance, "Set Use Internet to No", then do the following for each resource id listed below: 1) Type "Open " in the command bar, where ResourceId is like LLS:1.0.710 2) Select the first option that appears to open the resource, in the example above LLS:1.0.710 is the ESV. 3) Scroll the resource

Can do. That is my home machine though so it will be this evening. An interesting side note. After following the steps listed yesterday I had a return of the "numbered layout" syndrome. My primary reading right now is in Romans and when I am done at the end of reading I update my layout. This has proven to be a more reliable way to keep my different

7633.Logs.zip Here it is. Behavior a little different tonight. The scrolling was jerky and locked up with beach ball once but came back and was somewhat usable. L4 did not freeze on close either. It seemed to be constantly syncing though. I think I am going to open it up and let it sync for as long as it wants.

5758.LibraryCatalogSync.db Here it is. I have also deleted it and need to do some study tonight so I will post if I experience any problems. Thanks for looking at this.

Finished doing my daily devotional and saved the layout (I use this to keep all my work spaces and reading positions saved to their last known spot) then hit Command Q with L4 active to quit. It stopped responding and after a short time I did a force quit. The two posts from today show the major symptoms I get on Snow Leopard. My other installation

Living on the edge... Thanks Dev team!

Set update channel to beta Type it in the command bar.

We have seen limited print/export functionality already so I think it is likely close. David showed sentence diagramming as well so I imaging the first non-SP beta we get will likely have that feature. Handouts are probably a ways away. I like the potential Windows had there but honestly think time would be better spent on PBB or better note taking

I haven't messed with a bunch of them but I know the commentary settings are not sticky like they are in Windows. I always restrict my commentary section to books I have starred 3 or greater and right now I have to do this manually each time. I just checked my Windows install (first time I have fired it up in a couple of months!) and they do stick.
Are any other Mac users experiencing this? I hope it is just me and that I can find some relief.
I did for a while in the Beta process but I cleared out some files that were causing contention and the improvement was dramatic. I get the impression that there are certain situations where syncing files created on the

I wish they would offer a discount on these comparable to their package upgrades. I covet NICOT/NICNT but will never own it at the current price. I am less of a fan of ICC but there are some other expensive resources I would buy if they were discounted similarly.

I wish they would offer a discount on these comparable to their package upgrades. Not sure but you might try logging out and logging back in. If that doesn't work I have read where others have deleted and reinstalled the app to solve some problems. Also keep an eye on server status. I read in another forum that there are possible server issues at the moment and that might effect you. Early on when they were fixing books and accounts
I've been disappointed with the IPhone app, too. The idea of being able to use Logos on my iPhone was part of my reason for upgrading but, like others here, it's very limited away from a good internet connection (e.g. in my local church). I had Laridian's MyBible on my previous Palm and that could search, highlight and make
