As a long time user of Logos, I agree with Fabian. The program has become an albatross Original language searches have become a computational puzzle. Additional gripes: Upgrades and improvements occur often enough that I’m lost and confused. I’ve become dependent upon the internet for simple searches. The internet is quicker and more reliable. I‘m in! Readers chase scattered reference examples all over the Bible in his text. Rendsburg’s book would be far better appreciated in a digital format
-
I wonder if the delay is related to the developments in the critical Greek text.

The hardcover of the LES is beautiful! It sits along side Robert Alter’s Hebrew Translation on a shelf of various other translations. I’m quite curious to find out if the digital text contains the same typo I found in the print version. Psalm 1:1 ...and does not sit in t he seat of evil persons.
-
I’d buy it In a heartbeat! It is quite dated but I’ve got two copies in my personal library that I treasure (first editions English and American)

They only have the first volume of Everett Fox’s translation. The second volume would be another fine addition.

I sat down after work to read portions of Alter's Isaiah and pondered just how easy it would be to compare it with other versions with Faithlife. Isaiah 44:3-4 Robert Alter 2019 For I will pour water on thirsty land, // and rivulets upon the dry ground, I will pour My spirit on your seed // And My blessing on your offering And they shall sprout among

Howl, for the LORD’s day is near, as shattering from Shaddai it shall come. Isaiah 13.6 Alter, 2019

The Redaction of Genesis by Gary A. Rendsburg "Let us assume a paradigm cycle of ten episodes or units, which are aligned in the order ABCDEE'D'C'B'A'. (The order of the Primeval History, the only one without chiasm, would be ABCDEA'B'C'D'E'.) Each chapter begins with such an outline, presenting the matched units. I then proceed to the meatiest part

Just two... Hidden but now Revealed, Beale The Lost World of the Torah, Walton ...quite a few that Faithlife should have/may offer in the future that I couldn’t wait for. How the Bible Actually Works, Enns The Hebrew Bible, Alter The Art of Bible Translation, Alter How the Bible is Writen, Rendsburg
-
Might as well add Gary Rendsburg‘s recent book to the list, How the Bible is Written Just received it Wednesday. It would be a wonderful addition and immensely enhanced by its inclusion in Logos.
-
I gave mine to a older friend who still can’t figure out how to use it.

I presumed the free bundles were the option this month because I didnt receive any special codes.
