  • Re: September Author Spotlight - pricing question

Could someone from FaithLife tell us if they'll put the Author Spotlight Packer books on sale this month or not?

  • September Author Spotlight - pricing question

Since Sept 1st the J. I. Packer author spotlight page hasn't listed the regular price versus the sale price, as it usually does for author spotlights. All I see is "your price," even when not logged in, which doesn't seem to be sale prices. Will FL be reducing the prices on these books? https://www.logos.com/author-spotlight

I forgot to mention R C Sproul has a chapter on humanism in Making a Difference: Impacting Culture and Society as a Christian and he discusses some of the underlying philosophy in The Consequences of Ideas: Understanding the Concepts That Shaped Our World

I read Packer's book a while ago and thought it was helpful: Christianity: The True Humanism , by Thomas Howard and J I Packer, 1985. Some other Christian critiques of secular humanism are: Norman Geisler, Is Man the Measure?: An Evaluation of Contemporary Humanism https://www.logos.com/product/9152/is-man-the-measure-an-evaluation-of-contemporary-humanism

Hi Melissa, welcome to the forum. You can email customer service at cs@logos.com and ask for a retund. They'll give it to you, they'll only ask why you want to return it. Don't worry, you have 30 days from the day of purchase to request a refund.

Is this the essay you were looking for? "Inerrancy and the Divinity and Humanity of the Bible" in Engaging the Written Word of God (Peabody, MA: Hendrickson Publishers; Paternoster: Thinking Faith, 1999) originally published in The Proceedings of the Conference on Biblical Inerrancy (Nashville: Broadman, 1988)

  • Re: Resource Question: The Formation of the Biblical Canon by McDonald

Sorry for the late response, perhaps you already used the 30% discount code or have already made up your mind. I just read some of McDonald's preface on Google's preview for "Formation of the Biblical Canon" (2 vols), and the author says that the 2 vol edition does not simply "correct' or "update" his previous book which you mentioned ("Biblical Canon

  • Re: Can you do this with Logos 8?

In your video you asked whether it's possible to click on a new word in a Bible and have the Bible Word Study refresh to that word. One way that works for me is to have 3 panes open in the following manner: a Greek Bible plus a Bible Word Study that's linked to my 1st prioritized Greek lexicon (the one which automatically opens when I click on a Greek

I noticed that in another thread a Faithlife rep said that they'll work on fixing the pre-pub sorting so that it sorts by ship date.

  • New Website - Pre-pub shipping date

On the new website, has anyone found a way to see which pre-pubs are shipping today or in the near future? Sorting by "progress" no longer lists the pre-pubs in order of shipping date, and trying to use https://classic.logos.com/ for pre-pubs just redirects to the new Logos website.

[quote user="Natalie Winburn"] [quote user="RC"]have a section at the bottom of the page where the authors and page counts for the individual books were listed. • Re: Updated Logos.com Website!

This seems like a step backwards to me, since the pages for collections and bundles now only list the titles of the books, not the authors. To find out the author of a book, we have to hover over the title. Please return to listing both the title and author of each book.
