Ok I searched trhough some of the previous posts on JBL and didn't find this. I'm not looking for articles that cover a particular passage(s), I just want to see the titles of all the articles in the collection so I can choose what sounds interesting to read. This is probably a dumb question but is there a General index for JBL which catalogues all

Update, so i bought the english translation and made our reading plan using that(others in the group were also forced to get this book). Then I generated a reading plan for the English translation. Opening the QSM Hebrew/Aramaic originals in a synced pane works on the desktop version of Logos ; so as we scroll our assigned reading in English it syncs

I'm not using it so often because you are right ... Shooting laser beams is not so great for scrolling and such. The immerse app the opp mentioned does, however, support using a mouse and a virtual keyboard overlay ... So you can bring your keyboards into vr. I use a laptop and tried the keyboard overlay about half a year ago and it was terrible. Probably

Porting Logos android mobile app to Oculus should require a minimum of work since Oculus Quest IS an Android system. The way I found your post was I was googling if someone had sideloaded the Logos Android app on quest yet. (Sideloading is a legal way to copy normal Android apps onto your quest) I'm with you brother, I like using logos in immerse floating

Shalom gam lekha HJ! Thanks for the tip, I tried this and it's interesting it does reduce the number of results but still gives me things from 1911 and the 1800's (according to title pages). I wonder if Logos has some hidden value for publication date where it's interpreted as "the year in which a book was 'published' in Logos"? So even if it was public

So I'd like to form a collection of my Greek grammars consisting only of those published within the last say 50 years. Currently, when I start a new collection and enter "Greek grammar" over 70 resources show up; plenty of them from the very early 1900's or even 1800's. Is there a keyword I can enter to limit the publication year? Thanks!
No you just need to select and add selection IIRC
Ok thanks for the ideas guys. I've decided this is just too tedious to build the reading plan this way. So my plan is instead, I will buy the English translation of the Sectarian manuscripts (as will those in my study group), then I'll build a reading plan of the translations

I just wanted to respond to your statement that a single verse a day is not available on bible reading plans... my current plan reading the Tanakh yearly has the aramaic portions as 1 verse per day so it is possible to do this;
We know that the Bible datatype allows for book/chapter/verse, so

For example, here I have made a reading plan for 985 days. Observe in the pic all of document CD is scheduled for 1 day, then the next day has no reading.
It means that your number of sessions is excessive. Try 700 and scroll through the plan. If there are any breaks, decrease the number of

It seems Logos is unable to break up any of the DSS sectarian documents. For example, here I have made a reading plan for 985 days. Observe in the pic all of document CD is scheduled for 1 day, then the next day has no reading. Same thing happens with all of the documents, Logos tries to schedule an entire document for a day then gives a rest from any

Hi, I want to make a reading plan for my bible study group; we are planning to read through the Dead Sea Scrolls Sectarian manuscripts in Hebrew/Aramaic this next year (or more if needed). We wanted to schedule n number of verses per day but Logos seems not able to understand how "verses" are set up in these documents. When I select 1 verse per day

OK he solved it, he had zoom turned on - on his phone (not a tablet) when he turned it off now the logos menu is no longer suppressed. I'll leave the thread in case this helps someone else. G-d bless

I just realized it looks like the popup menu is an Android menu (logos doesn't have a translate choice) is it possible the browser is blocking the logos popup menu and the event is getting passed to the OS instead?

I'm posting this for a friend of mine (it works for me). When he uses the webapp on his android 11 tablet, selecting a word brings up only the copy/paste options but not the "lookup" for searching his lexicons (tested in Hebrew LHB and in Leiden Peshitta). He verified it DOES work for him on the webapp on PC. I tried to help him but am out of ideas

Since we have seen no fix for this over the years, I have created a bug fix request as a "feature wish" in Logos. Please cast your votes so we can get this fixed. Here's the write up, please vote and add to the discussion to make it clearer. https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-desktop-app/posts/fix-hebrew-highlighting-notes-bug
