I have restored the previous versions of NA27 and UBS4 (from backup) & regained the lost functionality!
Dave, I have some older files and tried to replace the newer files with them including renaming the newer files. I was not able to regain functionality. The files I have still show Bible , Page Number and bible

I've got the exact same problem, thought I was going crazy there for a while, couldn't figure it out... Looks like the temporary corrective action is to find an old LOGOSNA27.lbxlls file which I don't think I have unless it's on one of my old disks. I just called Logos tech support and explained the problem, hopefully it'll be resolved... In the meantime
[Its working fine for me using this resource James. Have you tried re-running the setup file from CD-ROM ? I am not sure what would the issue.
I may have to do that but it will have to wait until tomorrow... disk's in the office.

I think I discovered the problem but I'm still a little confused. The write-up on the Greek Audio Bible clearly states that only certain Greek texts will display the arrrow. However the demo, see below, uses the same NA27 text that I've been using in the past and in the past the arrow worked. Has there been a change?

I lost the arrow which indicates the word in the passage that's being pronounced. It works fine in L4 but in L3 it's completely missing? Any idea what might be the problem?
I took the iPad plunge 9 days ago to take advantage of NC's tax-free weekend. I ordered the 16G wifi model. Estimated shipping date - August 20th. Estimated delivery - August 25th. Seems like a long wait, but I suppose delayed gratification is a good thing.
Hey Ralph, when you get it I'd appreciate your

Thanks all! I appreciate the comments. I especially appreciated Kevin P's comments since he has both devices -- and a deeper pocket apparently ... I'll keep you posted on my purchase, now to go soften some ribs....
But remember, at this time, the Logos app is pretty much nothing but a reader (no search functionality even) for offline books.
Hmmm, so excluding the LogMeIn Ignition functionality, the iPad's no different than a Kindle with the exception that there's no Logos app for the Kindle. Is that a fair statement? If so
-
Ok, I'm almost there! I've weighed the iPad vs the Kindle and am thinking iPad simply because the Kindle will not allow me to interface with L4. So I'm thinking the iPad will allow me to have a moble L4 for classroom, travel, etc. Given that decision should which memory configuration will suit me? I have Scholar's Platinum 4, obvioulsy the 64GB would
God a 200NB download this morning. It has indexed, but mine is still showing the latest files as being August 10.
My last update was 8/10/10 too (see below) I'm assuming this is the latest download that everybody is talking about. Is that right or is there a subsequent download? I've tried "update now" and "update
The update you received was Service Release 2 for 4.0d. Service releases are emergency releases to fix crashing bugs.
Hmmmm, I hadn't realized that.... or maybe just wasn't paying attention. I, too, have been waiting on fixes to the CBV function and had expected it in this most recent SR. Guess I'll have to be a

Is there any documentation on linking BW8 to L4 resources e. g., HALOT, TDNT, ABD? I've been able to do so with L3 but there seems to be a few extra quirks related to L4 that makes it a little more difficult. Thanks for any suggestions/pointers even examples if you have them.
Still not working for me (reverts to Fully Formated...............
Same here! I have 4.0d SR-2 (4.04.4.3415). I know Logos is working on this per previous posts.. Any idea how soon this will be resolved?

I'm considering purchasing an iPad. A friend of mind brought his into my office and I was seriously impressed. I've since learned that over 4,000 resources are available for the iPad so I'm assuming most of my resources will beavailable to me on the iPad. My question is about speed and battery life. Can someone who owns an iPad comment on how fast it
There's an appropriate use of discussion related to Logos that mentions other products. For example, did you know that BibleWorks supports external links to Logos books? There are two ways to talk about that. One "cool" way is to start a thread and ask other Logos users which resources are best to buy at Logos so you can
What operating system are you running? I have Vista on my desktop and XP on my laptop and I have never run into this problem. It must have something to do with your settings?? I have noticed that increasingly with every new update I've had to right click the icon on my desktop and select "Run as administrator" for the program to properly install the update. This is an ongoing issue that I thought was promised to be resloved by L 4.0c. I've read several posts that offer work arounds like "rename the original install directory
The default layout doesn't sync for the reason that you might want to use different layouts on different computers because they have different screen configurations. If you had a netbook with 1366 x 768 pixel screen and a desktop with two monitors (one at 2560x1440, and one at 1280x1024), you might be glad that you're not

I thought at one time that L4 remembered your current layout from one computer to the next. For instance, if I'm at Gen 2 on my home computer and then start L4 on my work computer the layout screeen would be the same. I seem to remember this being the case on earlier versions. Now (v 4.04.4.1385) this doesn't seem to be the case. Any idea what's up
