  • Re: New Feature: Send to Kindle

Hi! Apparently, this issue is what Eric Ruhnow mentions--the Kindle for PC app isn't supported. I just read some info on Amazon's site, and Kindle for PC isn't listed as a supported app/platform. As for why I want to do this, I have a Lenovo tablet that has only 32GB of space (less than that when you take into consideration the size of the OS). My Logos

  • Re: New Feature: Send to Kindle

Well, I assume I'm doing something wrong. I have a kindle.com address registered in Logos and I have noreply@logos.com registered in my Amazon account. When I click on Send to Kindle on a resource, it plays an animation and seems to send it to Amazon. However, I never see any documents available for the Kindle for PC app on my computer. Is there a place

  • Re: Correlating cryptic resource filenames with regular full names

I just tried a variation of Justin's suggestion. I didn't see a circled i when I looked at the list of resources with the Library menu item in desktop Logos 6, so I right-clicked on a resource. This opened a pane with lots of information about the resource. There is a section in the pane named SUPPORT INFO, and the last piece of information in that

  • Re: Correlating cryptic resource filenames with regular full names

This is the desktop Logos app on Windows 10 on a full Windows tablet. I've seen posts where other folks have been told they can take resources from a full Logos installation (such as on a desktop PC, which is what I also have--both another PC and a full Logos installation on it), copy the resources that they want to their tablet, and then use the SCAN

  • Re: LogosSetup.exe failing on Windows 10

Never mind... Though the "failed" uninstall removed the Logos files and Logos from Programs and Features, it left the program keys in the registry. I removed those manually, and setup ran fine. Logos launched and is now downloading resources. Thanks, anyway!

  • LogosSetup.exe failing on Windows 10

Hi! For some reason, my Logos 6 product wouldn't load today. The splash screen would display and the program would just hang there. Unfortunately, I didn't have logging turned on. I decided to uninstall the program and reinstall it. Now, I can't get Logos to reinstall. I downloaded a new LogosSetup.exe. When I try to run it, nothing displays. The Logos

  • Correlating cryptic resource filenames with regular full names

Hi! I want to install a subset of my resources on a tablet. How can determine what resource is contained in what file on disk? For example, the following are a few filenames in the Resources folder: 01GK.logos4 1GK.logos4 2AE84BFB62392FC081529449705C7252.logos4 ESV.logos4 I assume the last resource is the text of the ESV Bible. I have no clue what the

  • Re: Logos 6 and Windows tablet experience and need for improvements

Thanks, everyone, for the help! Sorry for the slow response, but I recently retired from my job and we've been traveling. So, after reading your responses and doing some more research, I ended up with the following: Logos 6 installed on the internal drive. Resources installed on the microSD card. A symbolic link between the resources folder on the internal

Hi. Thanks for your response! Apart from the indexing issue, I find the performance of the Yoga with Logos to be fine for what I need. I have an original Surface RT as well, which is much slower over all. I've been amazed at the speed of the Yoga. Though the Yoga is near the minimum requirements for Logos, it does meet them, so I would expect it to

Glad to hear it! The Surface Pro 3s are wonderful systems, but in a different category from tablets like the Yoga and its counterparts. :-)

  • Logos 6 and Windows tablet experience and need for improvements

I received a Lenovo Yoga 10.1 Windows tablet at Christmas. Like many Windows tablets, it has 2GB of RAM. Because of the space required by my Logos library, I've installed Logos 6 to my 64GB SD card. To do so successfully, I followed suggestions in the Logos forums and installed my resources on my desktop PC and indexed them there before moving them

  • Re: Indexing for a tablet keeps failing

Thanks for the info! I tried this twice, and it worked the second time. For some reason, when I tried the fist time and got to the step of starting Logos on my tablet after copying the three folders to my SD card, I kept getting a message that the application couldn't run on, or wasn't compatible with, the system (something to that effect). I uninstalled

  • Indexing for a tablet keeps failing

Hi! I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 2 10" tablet last week to consolidate all my "books," including my Logos library. I've installed Logos on a SanDisk 64GB Ultra micro sdxc card. I've tried 7 or 8 times so far to get my Logos books to index but without success. Sometimes, I get a message that Logos has stopped working, and sometimes the indexing freezes

  • Re: Offline Access

Are you almost done? (Actually, I'm kidding...; I couldn't resist asking...) I was surprised by this limitation at a class today. I recently got a Surface RT and have Logos, the Nook app, and the Kindle app installed and have copies of the ESV for all three but I had only downloaded the Logos copy so far. I was where there was no Wireless support, couldn
