I am experiencing this 9.10 menu bug on my Linux setup. Annoying. It's very difficult to access the Guides menu. The Tools menu is not much better. Please report when a new version corrects this.
I love Linux, but not Wine. I don't know what to wish for, vote for, and ask for, but for me, it isn't Wine. Good luck!
Logos runs pretty darn well under Wine for me within my Ubuntu LXD container on my Chromebook. Without it, we Linux users would only have the Logos web app available to us. It's worth supporting

I have thought the same thing, but in my case I have just under 12,000 resources. I can't provide any tips to answer your question, but I am grateful that you raised the question. Maybe you can find some peace knowing that you are not alone in feeling the way you do. Just yesterday I bought under $20 of resources (mostly from the free book of the month
Related question: how does this book support multiple columns in Logos? "Robertson, A. T. (2009). A Harmony of the Gospels. Logos Bible Software." Is there a way I can do the same in a Personal book?
Bob, I am seeing multiple columns, anywhere from 1 to 5 depending on the pericope under consideration, in thumbing through

  • Re: Linux version of Logos Bible Software

John, You need to install winbind and cabextract. If you are using Ubuntu, an ubuntu-derivative, or a Debian-based system, run sudo apt install winbind cabextract. Hopefully someone else will have the package name to satisfy the dependency of libjepg8.
Does anyone know if there is a setting in Finder to show all hidden folders?

Under the finder, hit "go" from the menu bar, hold down the option key. The directory 'Library' will show -- click on it.
Frank, That was an extremely helpful tip, thanks!

That's the key number when deciding how much storage to get

DAL, I would get the Macbook with the M1 chip. The performance is so much better and will be better over the long haul.

I got a Macbook Air with 16gb RAM and 512GB SSD. It flies, although Logos has to use Rosetta 2 to run Logos. We still are some time out from Logos running natively on the M1 chip. Get 16GB of RAM and as much storage as you can afford. That will future proof your investment. You can get a USB C hub to run things like DVD drives, etc. If you are going

Between Logos resources and Faithlife eBooks, most of Philip Yancey's books are represented. However, two new books and an older one are not yet available: A Companion in Crisis : A rendition of John Donne's Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions. When you get this one done in Logos or eBook format, please consider publishing John Donne's works , even though

I wish it was still possible to download an old version of the app... [/quote
