• Re: Min Cross Grade Is Live

I am confused as anything!! Can someone please explain to me why the "Minimum Crossgrade" (sounds like the minimum, right?) would cost me $159.95 and the "Starter Upgrade" would be $53.55? The latter would get me far more new books. Would I not be getting several new Logos 5 features? The whole Logos 5 thing seems downright designed to not make any

  • Re: Biblia 2.1.1 ?

Maybe I could learn Spanish faster than we will see the English version. Seriously, I've been wondering how many times Apple has rejected 2.1 and if Logos is still trying to get it through. Anybody know?

  • Re: Alabama, any updates of the status of 2.1

Thanks so much for being our only source of information on progress on this issue! I join many others in being frustrated with this situation (I recognize that Bob and Logos are included in the frustrated group) and sometimes check here more than once a day to find out if alabama24 has incidentally commented and mentioned the status of the private beta

  • Re: Sync to iPhone?

Maybe my experience is different? First, just for clarity: I tend to say iPhone because it's a more common reference point for people. But I don't have one. Some of the points in Bob's post seem not to apply. My iPod touch is connected to WiFi at home or in the office about 22 hours per day. Next, in my experience, It has been at least 7 or 8 months

  • Re: Sync to iPhone?

Thanks Jonathan! I had been a bit incredulous that updating one end and not the other could solve a sync problem, so your answer makes perfect sense to me. I'll try to not to get my shorts in a bunch and keep waiting! In Him, Matt

  • Sync to iPhone?

Greetings, Up front: I don't participate in the beta program, nor have I been following threads here, so I'm broadly ignorant of the whole thing; sorry. The fact that 4.3 doesn't sync to the iPhone has been a thorn in my side for months. But with the new year it means that my annual Bible reading plan isn't just buggy and difficult to manage, it is

  • How do I save a layout? (an easy question)

I know this is probably a very simple question, but how do I save my layout? The toolbar doesn't have a layout window on the Mac version. Thanks. Chris.

  • Re: Problem syncing reading plans

I'm just adding mass to the thread in the hopes of calling developer attention to the problem... I constructed a new reading plan for the new year on my laptop. The reading plan shows up on my desktop and on my iPod. I'm up to date with my reading, all of it done on the iPod, but my desktop doesn't know I've started. In other words, me too: no syncing

  • Calvin's Font

I don't know if this issue would occur with other resources or not. I've noticed it with Calvin's Commentaries. I have several bibles open in one pane and a few commentaries open in another. Generally it looks like this: Notice the NKJV on the left is rendered in Calabri, my default font, but Calvin's Commentary is in Times New Roman (?). If I bring

I have not had L4 freeze before, but twice now since downloading a22.1 This second time happened after searching for "Babylonian Captivity" and then clicking on one of the entries found. I got the spinning beach ball for a long while and then forced a quit. Here are the logs: 417641.Archive.zip Regards, Matt

Yes, I've been having this same problem for a while now. Not as long as you have; I don't think I noticed it until maybe A18 or so. I remember thinking, "That's a nasty regression." I'm running A20 now and it is the same. I click in the reference box (just under the tab identifying the resource open in this tab) and press command-A to select the contents

  • Non-Linear Reading Plans?

Please forgive my ignorance if necessary: I have zero exposure to any version of Logos Windows and I don't spend a whole lot of time poking around in L4Mac. It seems that the reading plan function is a strictly linear mathematical thing where I tell Logos what book I want to read, and how long I want it to take and Logos does the math. I've recently

  • Re: How to change preferences
As a general rule of thumb the wiki is written by and for PC users (unless it is a Mac specific page). So, not everything listed there will be applicable for the Alpha.
Right, but Rob says we can change preferences by typing commands. And Jac says that worked. "Cool, but where should I type this command?" I ask myself

  • Re: How to change preferences

Thanks for pointing us to the wiki; I'd have had no idea where to type the commands Rob mentioned. However, the wiki says to use Alt+D for quick access to the command bar. I've tried that and a fair number of other combinations to no avail (I just get the "you can't do that" tone from the OS). Are we talking about the Mac version here? -- Matt
