  • Frustrated by Greek Formating

I am trying to use Mounce’s Biblical Greek Reference on an iPad. I want to see the charts look like they are on the hard copy edition. But the columns don’t line up. I’ve tried different screen rotation. I’ve tried different font sizes. How do I get it where I can use the resource. I have this same trouble with many Greek resources

  • Missing Manual for New Testament Greek Vocabulary (Audio)

Logos has made it very (easy to navigate the New Testament Greek Vocabulary (Audio). Thank you!!! But where is the manual of the words that are being spoken? It came with the CD and Audible has a PDF file to print. It would be fantastic if Logos would make a file with the words.

  • Thank you Logos for giving chapter title to audio Readings in the Greek New Testament

I own Readings in the Greek New Testament audio on CD, in Audible and in Logos. Last week, I wanted to use it, but it was broken into 2 parts. I had to listen to the whole audio to find what passages were read and mark the start of each passage. It is still that way in Audible, but when I went to use it in Logos, it was clearly marked and broken into

  • Sing and Learn Greek Documentation - Where?

I have Sing and Learn New Testament Greek on CD, in Audible, and in Logos, The CD came with a booklet that goes with the songs. Audible has a PDF file you can print out with the songs. But I can't find a printed copy of the booklet in Logos. Am I missing something? I want to see the song as I sing it. That should be an easy task for Logos. Where's the

I found a file called "Morphology Codes for Logos 4." It was by Rosie Perera in 2009 and modified in 2010. Is there a newer edition?

  • Re: Audio Bibles in Logos 8

I put my bid in on the Old Testament LEB last January. It will be a welcome addition to Logos. When I search for audio bibles, it is very hard to tell if they sync with the written text. Yesterday, I saw a bible pop up that was for the RSVCE. The only way that I knew that it synced was that the ad said you must have the RSVCE in your library. I am not

  • Audio Bibles in Logos 8

What audio bibles are available for Logos 8 that sync with the written text. I have an ESV, LEB, RSVCE and Greek text that sync with written text. Are there any others? I have Alexander Scourby, but it doesn't sync. I wish Logos would add Max McLean in ESV, KJV, and NIV. Also please make Alexander Scourby sync with the KJV.

  • Disk space issues with Logos 5 Portfolio

Last week I bought a Lenova Yoga 13 with 128gb ssd. (The drive only has 63 gb available.) I installed my portfolio edition and it took most of my free space. I didn't have enough space to install my Bibleworks. I ended up buying a USB 3.0 external hard drive and installed Bibleworks on that. However, I would like to install both on my ssd. Is there

  • Problem Using Bible Word Study

When I use the Bible Word Study on my iPad from an English Bible, I get the results for the English word. It tells me what Hebrew or Greek word is translated with that English word. When I choose one of the Greek or Hebrew words that is translated by that word, it only shows me where the Greek or Hebrew word is translated with the English word I started

  • Is it me? or is it the program?

On the iPad2, I went to Romans 4:4 in the NASB. highlighted the word "reckoned" in the phrase "Now to the one who works, his wage is not reckoned as a favor." I clicked on "Look Up." then on "Bible Word Study." It only showed me the Hebrew word for reckoned. It should have shown me a Greek word because I was in the New Testament. Did I do something

  • Problems with Zondervan Iluustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary Vol 1

There are some typographical errors that show up on the iPad that don't show up on the PC. In the introduction and the 2nd paragraph, it reads "-people" instead of "people". In the third paragraph, it reads "Chris-tians" instead of "Christians". These errors are repeated in the introduction. I went to flag these on my PC, but they read correctly. Dennis

  • The Unofficial Tutorials are Great!

I have 3 weeks off for Christmas so I have been watching tutorials on Logos 4. The Unofficial Logos 4 tutorials are just what I needed. They are brief enough so you can watch at one sitting. However, they are deep enough to really get you into the power of Logos. They should be mandatory viewing for any new Logos user and for any Logos user as a matter

  • Finally Seeing the Light

I bought my iPad (the first day they came out) just for Logos. I was excited that I could carry my library with me. However, I was disappointed with how it worked. I wanted to use it at church and the church has no wifi. The program was to slow to use. So I bought a mifi card so I could have wifi at church. The program was too hard to use and too slow

  • Re: incomplete table of contents for Greek lexicons/dictionaries?

I asked the same question about the Table of Contents in Bible dictionaries. I got the same response that you are getting. I got no responses to my question. I have noticed that the Table of Contents in many of the resources are not complete. This makes finding entries hard. you have to page through a dictionary to find the word that you want. Is this

  • How do I get the complete table of contents in a book?

I have an iPad. I use it with a wifi card. When I go to a book, such as, The Zondervan Encyclopedia of the Bible, Vol 1, A-C the Table of Contents does not list all the articles. For instance, if I go to the letter A, I get a listing for Aalar to Abel-Cheramin. How do I see the rest of the listings under A? In Christ Dennis

  • Re: 10 Volumes missing from Everyman's Bible Commentary Series

I really think that Logos has a responsibility to point this out in their advertising. When you buy something "sight unseen" it should be responsibility of the seller to tell you that you are not getting the whole set. When you read the copy about the series, it seems to be the complete set. I like the material that I received, but I really thought

I understand about the zoom in/out. When a map of Paul's travel pops up, how do you easily locate on small location on a large map if you don't know where it was in the first place?

  • How to locate a place on a map

When I use places-biblical places to find a location on a map from a Biblical reference, a map pops up. This is great! However, how do you find the location on the map that pops up. I read Morris Proctor's "Logos 4: Quickly Access a Map." I right clicked on Acts 28:1 on the word Malta. The map appeared. It still took time to locate Malta. Shouldn't
