Sorry for the delay in response. I typed in to the command bar 'update now', and it told me there was no updates available. I have provided a screen shot of how I'm changing translations. My default resource text size is 140%

  • Logos crashing on Sierra

I'm running a 2012 MacBook Air 2Ghz i7, 8GB ram, 250GB had drive. Still running Logos 6, sweet as until this morning. I upgraded to Mac OSX Sierra this morning. Now, when running Logos on the Mac's screen, all is well. But if I run it on my external screen, and try changing translations (ESV to NIV) it crashes. I've restarted the system, changed my

  • Re: Undeleting a note on my iPad

I have my notes synced onto my mac. I'm guessing you're thinking of restoring an earlier version of the note file?

  • Undeleting a note on my iPad

I've accidentally deleted a note within a note document on my iPad, as I have done so in the past. How do I retrieve that note? Not the whole document, just the note. Thanks

  • moving bulk notes on PC/Mac

I'd like to see an option where you can move a number of notes in a 'document' to another document. I've been reading Gary Colins 'Christian Counselling' on my iPad highlighting and making notes along the way, oblivious as to which document they were going into. I just spend 20mins shifting these many notes (and I do mean many!) one by one into the

  • Re: L5 for Mac very clunky

I've scraped my desktop, started a new desktop and linked 2 sets of Bibles (ESV, AGNT, AFAT each) and it's responding fine. So I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Thanks for asking, Dave. Intriguing, I tried what you suggested a couple of weeks ago with the same result. I just tried to reproduce the problem on a 'light' desktop to provide a log, and now it's running nice and sweet. I just did an update, but I don't know if that did anything to improve things. Yes, I do have a busy desktop, I do drive logos hard

Now I have another problem. Every time I try to copy the Hebrew text, the whole app crashes. I've tried restarting the machine, and a less busy layout. Still the same problem. Here's the crash report... 0028.Apple Crash Report.rtf

Firstly, my apologies. I hadn't realised I could attach files to posts. Please find attached my log from a few weeks ago. The problem is still present.

I just cracked it! I was search a Hebrew text - not a translation.

  • Problems with search string

I don't know if I'm posting in the right forum. Hopefully I am... I'm trying to use this search string just like logos hinted me, but it won't work... lemma:Elohim NOTEQUALS God And I know there is such an instance in 1 Samuel 14:15. I'd appreciate it if someone tells me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.

Well, I installed the Logos logger, enabled it, booted Logos, and the Logos logger told me Logos needed to be restarted. So I restarted Logos and Logos logger told me Logos needed to be restarted. So I restarted Logos and Logos logger told me Logos needed to be restarted. So I restarted Logos and Logos logger told me Logos needed to be restarted. Sorry for the delay in reply. I will try to be more descriptive. When I want to copy a text, I place the mouse at the start of the text I want to copy. Then I hold down the right mouse button with my finger, then move the mouse to the end of the text I want to copy. 3 seconds later, the text is highlighted. Using another finger, I press the left mouse

  • L5 for Mac very clunky

I don't know if others have had this experience, but for the past month or so, L5 for Mac has been very clunky and slow to respond. To select and copy text has been painful. I've had to revert back to using the Windows version on my Mac which is more responsive, but not the preferred option. If there is a problem, I hope it can be rectified soon. JASON

I saw this option before, but was hoping to have an option to list the words without the verses. Thanks anyway.

  • Produce a WORD list from a word Bible study

I have just produced a word study showing all the Hebrew words translated as 'gift' in the ESV. It took me 30mins to get this far. Now what I want to do is put those words into a list that I can copy. Is there a way to do this?
