• Re: Suggestion: Let's get these indexing complaints settled once for all
Please make indexing smarter. e.g. If it knows that there are more resources in the pipeline waiting for my permission to download (I set Automatic downloading to OFF), then don't bother starting a lengthy re-indexing which will have to be re-done anyway. If an indexing is already running, and new or updated resources become available
The good news is that 4.0e is underway in parallel, and it should have a bunch of cool new stuff...
Super, Bob! Thanks for informing us...I was getting concerned that it would be another week or so for 4.0d beta to be finsihed and then maybe 4.0e would start sometime after that in the beta process....glad to hear

  • BUG: Expositor's opens to note instead of the verse.

As I open the Expositor's Bible Commentary, Vol. 6, with my Bible already opened to Isaiah, it opens to the note section at the end of the chapter, rather than to the commentary on the verse. For example, I have the ESV opened to Isaiah 15:7. I open Expositor's and it opens to 7 in the Notes, which are located at the end of the Chapter, rather than
Yes, if you already have ECF, there's some overlap, but they are different translations, and ECF does not include Evagrius
Well, if that is the case, then is it possible for Logos to give a "reduced price" to those who own the ECF? $89.95 is quite alot to pay for just the one volume by Evagrius.

  • Request: Shortcut bar in Biblical Places

Would it be possible to add a "shortcut bar" to Biblical Places, in the area to the right where it says Actual Size/Fit? The reason for the request is that there are a few maps that I often use, but when I enter the city (like Jerusalem), there are so MANY maps and thus it takes a while before I can actually find the one that I am looking for, even
Thank you for the positive feedback! In regards to printing, be assured we are working on getting this option included in Logos 4, and it will be available in one of the upcoming updates to the software. However, we do not have a specific date as to when this feature will be available, but it is coming! Deborah Mickens
I don't know your specifics, but would taking screen shots/prints be faster?
Not at all. You can't see that there is a footnote reference, until you move your cursor over the symbol. Only then do you see the footnote information.
Wait, are you copying footnotes separately from the body of the text? That is, copying a paragraph or section and then going through and adding the footnotes in after the fact? If that's what you're doing, I would suggest that you click on Tools --> Program Settings and then under "General" set "Copy Footnotes" to "Yes
I have no idea what "BAR" is, but for below, I'm using "The NET Bible" as it has heavy footnote use, so it shows well what I'm wishing to describe. Open your BAR resource on the left, and give it lots of space to see everything. Then open "Power Lookup" from the Tools menu, on the right (or as you like). The Power Lookup panel will

  • Logos, Please Bring Printing as an Option Soon!

First, let me say to the staff at Logos, I appreciate your hard work. Your labor has paid off and I love what you have done. Having said that, I am quite frustrated over the length of time that it is taking in order for us to have the ability to print. As I am working on a research paper, I gather my articles together and then print out each one, so
