Yes, It is possible, but extreemly impractical. Create a visual filter and use it to catch bible references. my computer has been churning away for about five minutes now with "bible:*" limited to just one book and is still going strong. I had tried but that didn't seem to work. I was most successful with but each one slow

  • Is it possible to change the color of the hyperlink?

As I am reading through Palestine in the Time of Jesus , there are hyperlinks present in the text. But they are colored blue and are not very distinguishable from the regular text. Is it possible to change the setting so that this would be a bright red and/or bold, so that it would be easier to see? Thanks for any help in doing this!

Bob, Thanks so much for your continual interest in what we, your customers, think and want. I love Logos and have used it fo many years and have gotten other people involved. I would have gotten more involved, but the cost is the major thing. You may have used "free" products in the past to get more users to your software, but how many of us knew about

I too keep hoping for Logos in Kindle. It's just easier to read on, than on my laptop or desktop. I have found that I have started reading much more, due to the ease of holding it. Please Logos!

  • Life in Biblical Israel

I would love it if Logos obtained the rights to Life in Biblical Israel , by Philip King and Lawrence Stager. This is one of the best up-to-date books on the culture and life-sytle of what life was like during the Biblical times, using historical and archaeological discoveries. It is superb! I recently had to teach at a university here in Jerusalem

  • Hopefully printing is becoming available soon?

I spent about 4 hours (!!!!) copying and pasting just two articles from BAR magazine, just so I could print it out and read it for a class that I am taking. It would have been wonderful if I could have just right-clicked on the article and all the text, pictures, footnotes, etc. would have been sent directly to Word. Just know that I appreciate all
This is one of the redundant resource id's from the 4.0 beta. It is too late for Hiding as it is now expired. So delete "LEXBIBLE.logos4" from \Resources and keep "LEB.logos4".
This is good to know! What other "redundant resources" are there from the 4.0 beta?

It worked! Right as Christmas had started in Jerusalem, it finished indexing and it now opens without indexing immediately. Thanks again, Dave! I was surprised to see you were online on Christmas Eve (or was it Christmas!!!), but boy, was I glad! Merry Christmas!

So, can I delete the file now? And then when I do, does L4 automatically start "the correct" indexing or do I need to do something?

  • Re: Logos 4.0a RC 2 available for testing
It is attempting a full re-index as it suspects a corrupt index! Let's do it the old fashioned way by deleting the folder C:\Documents and Settings\Charlene\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\sdkwxwuj.iwv\LibraryIndex, but let me know what is in \LibraryIndex first! You may need to use Explorer to view Hidden files
Why not move the "words of Christ" option out of program settings and into visual filters, where it more naturally belongs. Advantages: (1) It makes program settings smaller, (2) It can be turned on/off per resource.
I concur!
I love highlighting text in MS Word by double-clicking on the paint format function. This enables me, for example, to transfer yellow highlighting by simply highlighting various word or phrases as I go through the text. There is no need to select a word - then select the highlight required; and then repeat the process one

  • Re: Bible calculator for Logos 4
We do plan to include graphics for particular measurements in the text, so you can see the scale of e.g. the 300 cubits length of the Ark in Gen 6:15 . I'm optimistic that will meet most reader's needs (since they're not really trying to do cubit-based measurement, but instead trying to understand the text).
Thanks
Do you want: A) One-time sharing: Someone can make a copy of one of your files, which is then their own unique copy they can independently edit and modify. B) Read-only
Super, Bob! I would definitely want C. The others are fine, as well, but for teaching purposes, I would like to be able to edit and modify to fit
