Nope it seems like it's only happening when using my saved layouts. I cleared everything and ran a homepage search and everything loads fine. A few of the commentaries I have in my saved layout: Preaching the Word, Believer's Bible Commentary, Bible Knowledge Commentary, Ironside, The message of ephesians, Pillar NT commentary ect...

Oh I'm sorry...I've attached a screenshot This is a saved layout that I load every week as I study Ephesians. As I mentioned I never have a problem with this in the windows version. I just load the layout and then use the passage guide to update the verse range in the commentaries.

  • Beta Problem

I have an issue with the passage guide in the new Logos 4 Mac Beta: My Passage Guide is displaying (for instance) Eph 6:5-9 it builds the report, lists all my commentaries, cross references ect... and yet when I click on one of the commentaries to open it... instead of opening it to Eph 6:5-9 it opens every commentary to Eph 5:22. The whole passage

  • Re: A20 How do I open all my fav Greek lexicons to a specific word?

I have all my favorite lexicons open and just link them all together through keylinking. Works great. Click one word and they all go to that entry. Is this what your trying to do?

My buddy was showing me his install of Logos 4 this morning and the exact same thing was happening to him. When he tried to close ANYTHING the program would lock up. He shut logos down several times and restarted to see if there was some issue. Did it every time. He's running a 27in iMac with Windows 7 under BootCamp and Logos SR-3

  • iPhone App Suggestion

Can we have a notes feature that syncs with our notes in Logos v4? It would be great to be able to take notes on a verse, chapter, ect.. and have it sync automatically. Maybe like tapping on a verse number and a note option could come up? Is this a possibility?

Can't wait until we can choose. I would definitely choose the softer WPF version of the font.

For most it makes a tremendous difference within the emulator. VMWARE slows to a crawl if I enable 3D acceleration. I haven't heard of anyone being able to run Logos 4 effectively with the hardware acceleration option "on". Not sure if it has anything to do with hardware... I have an almost brand new machine... 17in MacBook Pro 2.93 Intel Core 2 Duo

Basically... 1. Install VMWARE Fusion 3.01 Let it create a virtual machine for you. 2. Install Windows XP or later using VMWARE 3. In VMWARE settings allocate 2gb or more of ram 4. In VMWARE settings turn OFF 3D acceleration (very important) 5. In VMWARE setting use only one processor 6. If it's still slow... in Windows turn hardware acceleration down

  • Re: The Essential IVP Reference Collection

If your running L4 you can just call Logos and they will activate your serial number for the IVP collection and L4 will begin downloading it the next time you launch it. That's what I did. The CD is practically useless... as L4 can't see it and you have to install L3, install the resources, input the serial and then try to sync your licenses... Then

  • Resource from a CD

I just purchased and received the IVP Essential Collection... it showed up on a CD. I have L4 installed. I DO NOT have v3 installed. When I put the CD in, the installer wants to install Libronix v3. L4 Does not even see the disc and does nothing with it. I tried letting v3 install... but the dialog box never came up to enter the serial number for the

I have noticed that my NIV bible is NOT an reverse interlinear. Nor is my NLT. Is this just an issue of the resource not being completed as yet? Can anyone confirm that they do not have an NIV reverse interlinear?

  • Visual Filter

Does anyone know of a way to apply a visual markup to a specific greek word in an english Bible. I want to highlight every time "Doulos" is used in my NKJV Bible. I know how to do a morphological filter by starting with an "@" but how do I search for the specific greek word? Any idea how to do this? Thank you.

  • Re: SOOOO Slow.

Was your virtual machine built by Fusion... in other words, did you install windows through Fusion? Or did you convert a bootcamp install? Have you turned off the 3D acceleration option in Fusions "Settings"? That makes a huge difference. Also keep it at using 1 processor even if you have more, that will keep things speedy on your Mac side. Have you
