I just wonder if someone who is not using the newest beta version has everything ok?
Looks like Windows 11 will probably be a bump free update for Logos. They said there might be some little cross Win 10/11 compatibility things developers will have to contend with but whatever they are working on currently should be supported when Windows 11 arrives. Maybe some jazzed up interface things going forward. Sounds pretty

The problem might be in your Logos version. They fixed something and introduced something new, which is just normal. I have had Acts for a long time, and links in it work as expected. Recently I bought Luke, and the links to books do not work. Scripture references seem to work.

Well, I finished reading it, while enjoying the hot summer in the log cabin as a hillbilly. I can agree it is introductory, perhaps also wordy, but it was the right thing for me: filled gaps and provided a good overview on the subject. It is also interesting to get a linguistic view of the regional history. The reader may also have some fun, on page

Now it is 18. I had some difficulties with the page and the server may be slow but with some persistence of the user it works out.

It also came is could be into my mind this could be a good opportunity to move over to Linux. A simple operating system and the basic software should be available to everyone as a human right. Then those who want and need to, could join the commercial version and hardware update race.

While I was in the software industry, and we felt that our software is slow, difficult to use, and buggy, we joked that it is because of the security features (joking among us, but not with customers). In the cell phone industry there was quite extensive intentional incompatibility: each phone had a different charger with a specific connector. The car

Glad they're supporting it until 2025. It seems like they just want people to mindlessly rush right out and buy new hardware. Nope. lol
By the time that Windows 10 is no longer supported by Microsoft, the oldest processors qualified to run Windows 11 will be seven years old. Most people who use

With this Bring Back Logos xx Libraries frenzy I also want to remind about this! The previous post was 8 years ago. Today the situation might be different, so that the heart of the publisher has softened or whatever. Maybe Logos could sell it again. The data file is stored I guess.

  • Re: Change Layout Locks up (9.6 Beta 1)

One point more: do you have on or two screens? In my setup the desktop computer has two screens and the setups I use utilize both screens. It has a stable Logos version and works fine. In my laptop I have one screen and beta version. This one locks up. The problem started with 9.6. But I just wonder whether the two-screen layout could have an effect

Here is a screenshot. It shows part of the previous layout, and freezes. After that I've got 9.6 Beta 2 and the problem stays. It seems not to lock when I use the "close all panels" button and then start a new layout.
Here is the list of authors that I get when I go to that screen.
Well, the last in your list is Thomas Goodwin with 10 resources, but all rest are missing: those authors with 9 or less resources. Thus you have the same problem as all the other users. Perhaps many users don't recognize that problem. For example

I had thought that the indexing uses only one core in the processor, but today I found out that it actually uses the whole processing power at some point of the indexing .

I have not started to read it, but as I see it, it is useful. I am wondering how deep https://www.logos.com/product/55687/encyclopedia-of-hebrew-language-and-linguistics will go, I guess it will have an article about Aramaic.
