• Re: Logos 4 just bouncing in the dock a few times

Hi Tim. I have had the same issue and have tried a bunch of different things, but to no avail. I am probably just going to wait until a new version comes out and try again then. BTW: Do you have a previous version already loaded on your computer? Someone in the forums had mentioned about a previous version causing some issues and I wonder if it may

  • Re: Compatibility Issues with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 ?
What I am going to do is give it a few weeks before I jump back in and try testing it again. I'll probably wipe it completely off my computer and try again from scratch.
That sounds like the most sensible plan. I guess I will just keep up with the new releases and try each one as they come out. It should work

  • Re: Having trouble with Mac Alpha?

I want to report a bug, but I can't provide any logs because the bug is that the application won't start. I download and mount, drag the Logos icon to the application folder and then click it. The only thing that happens is that the icon bounces a few times. If I have Forced Quit open while I try to launch it, I can see it for about 1 second and then

Good point. I will report the bugs, but I am not sure if I can provide a log; the program never actual starts, so I am not sure where to look for the log.

  • Re: Compatibility Issues with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 ?

Thanks for your feedback. I have dragged it to the Application Folder and tried to launch it from there. I have also tried to launch it from the .dmg file. It's frustrating to hear others are okay with it and not having any explanation why I can't.

  • Compatibility Issues with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 ?

Is anyone have issues with L4 and Snow Leopard 10.6.2? I just can't seem to get it to work. I mount the application and I can see it working in Forced Quit for about 1 second, but that's it. It isn't even getting to the point where it asks me to log in, never mind indexing. Thanks.

  • Re: Nothing, Nada, Nyet

Thanks, but already did that. Still nothing. Initially it came up as the logo with the great circle and slash through it (like most new apps). I turned the computer off and then on again and the logo was in the apps folder and the colour was blue, but no response other than a couple of bounces.

  • Nothing, Nada, Nyet

I mounted the package onto my Mac and I see the blue logo, but when I click on it, nothing happens. I mean nothing, except the logo bounces twice. It doesn't ask me to log in, it doesn't even appear anywhere. I looked under Forced Quit and it wasn't there either. Please help me.

Same thing happens to me when I move between parallel resources. I adjust the text size and it seems to reformat itself to fit properly again.

  • Marking Books as Read

I read a lot, but I am not very good at remembering which books I have read. On my physical book shelf, I have a separate place for books I have not yet read. My Logos library is growing and I am finding it increasingly difficult to remember which books I have read; especially considering some of them share very similar titles. One solution I have thought

  • Re: Shared Folders on Fusion

Thanks. That seems to have resolved the main issue. I think I may have been too impatient while it rediscovered the resources. I notice however that the addons such as verse list are still being added in "My Documents" on the c: drive. I can live with that now and will transfer them over to the Mac file once the Mac version can use them. Thanks for

  • Re: Shared Folders on Fusion

Yes on both counts. I have shared the Libronix DLS file and can access through "My Computer" using Fusion. I can also make it a resource path within the Libronix software itself. Thanks.

  • Re: Shared Folders on Fusion

I followed all of the steps, including changing the resource path, but I still can't see the resources on the Mac drive in the XP version and vice versa. When I try to update Logos via the XP version (can't do it in Mac), it automatically adds a new path on the C: drive and updates it there. I keep trying to remove the path, but it keeps adding it back

  • Re: Rich client vs. web applications for Bible study

I agree. I don't think it is necessary to make it an either/or situation (local vs. in the cloud). I would suggest it could also be a combination. My ideal scenario would be to use Logos primarily on my laptop, but also have the ability to access some or all of it in the cloud. There are times when I am away from my computer, such as when I am on a
