  • Re: Can you force set a 'Page Wear' Visual Bookmark?

Yes! I would love to be able to set one when I want one set. Right now the program uses some logic to set them but that remains unexplained. Turn them on their automatic, turn them off they are gone. The program automatically sets them. Criteria? I don't think there is a way to manually set them so I'm asking to make sure. The Genesis 1:1 thing has

Check out the logos Wiki http://wiki.logos.com/Visual_Bookmarks They are the little grey marks next to the text they are called "Page Wear" marks. Others are called 'Visual Bookmarks", "Wear Marks, or they are officially called Auto Bookmarks . Thanks,

  • Can you force set a 'Page Wear' Visual Bookmark?

I scanned a number of posts but I never saw this question. I've had it for quite some time. Is there a way to set a 'page wear' visual bookmark? I use these when the program decides that by clicking one of the arrows I want to go to Genesis 1:1 when I'm in Acts. Thanks,

  • Side Bar book marks

Sorry if this has been posted before. I searched and couldn't find anything. I know that these marks are a sort of bookmark. However, my question is what determines the interval between them? Thanks, Scott

  • Re: Selecting Layouts minimizes program to the Dock

Yes, I reopen the layout do my study which then causes the layout to refresh to a new version, since I read for 1 to 2 hours. I then close the program. Tomorrow, when I open the program it will do the same thing. Has for the last 2 or 3 days. This started with the last update. Before that, no problem. So, it an issue, not a biggie, but still a behavior

  • Selecting Layouts minimizes program to the Dock

This action started a couple of days ago after the last update. 1. Start Logos, program minimizes itself in the lower left corner of the screen. 2. Move the program to upper left of screen and drag the program to full screen using lower right corner of program window. 3. Select Layouts and select yesterday Layout (where I finished reading yesterday

Same issue here. Started a couple of updates back. I still wish they would add a build number for identification purposes. Here are the log files. 2224535.Archive.zip

  • Re: Highlighting with Mouse crash

Sorry, for the late reply. The check box never sends me replies. I have to revisit the forum to find out whats going on. Specifically, it was the 7th paragraph in the Message section of the Luke introduction in Tom Constable's Notes on the Bible.

  • Highlighting with Mouse crash

Title is a little misleading. What I was doing was dragging my mouse over some text in Tom Constables Expository Notes on the Bible while holding down the left mouse button (using a Logitech G9 mouse). I had highlighted about half a sentence when the program crashed (quit). Attached are the log files. 5312572.Archive.zip

Having the same issue. Program appears to be syncing even though it's supposed to be shutting down. I mentioned in another post a couple of weeks back the Logos blue cross is missing now. That was the only visual clue for downloading. Here are some more logs for the stack. 208003.Archive.zip

  • Re: How do I know if A22 is indexing?

Thanks all, Good to know, I never saw anything about L4 not indexing in the recent release notes. I guess I'm used to it happening every time. R20 basically hosed my L4. I could never Sync after it installed. R21/22 seemed to solve the Sync. Since R19 I haven't seen the little blue Logos telling me if it was indexing. Auto update is ok but, there is

  • How do I know if A22 is indexing?

Since A20 the little blue Logos symbol is missing from the menu bar. I loaded A22 this morning and used it without incident but, I have no idea if it successfully indexed or not. Is there a way to tell if the program successfully indexed the Library?

  • Can someone tell me why L4 is generating these Console outputs constantly?

I have no visual queues as to what L4 R21 is doing. There is no Blue/White Cross icon. However, the Console log is full of this debug code Graphic won't show up. It says: 6/3/10 3:05:16 PM [0x0-0x3e03e].com.logos._Bible_Software_4[705] 6/3/10 15:05:16 | DEBUG | ResourceDisplay | DisplayAction Over raised for resource 'LLS:1.0.71' (IsLink:False). 6/3

  • Re: A20 - Triangular Sync error

Tommy, You were right. Under A20 when I clicked on a Layout A20 crashed. After waiting until the afternoon for the syncing to complete I clicked a layout to do my study and all was well. Unless something else occurs I would say that A21 has brought everything back to normal. Now if I can just get the Forums Email Me When Someone Replies to work all

Tommy, I disconnected from the internet and Reset Defaults. The resulting Sync Error is gone but I'm not sure I'm in any better shape. I no longer have a Layouts selection item. I'm not sure what it's doing but it remains unusable. It is generating Console Messages and is processing but I have no visual clues other then the Console Log. Attached are

Tommy, No, I am hard wired but have an active wireless connection also. I replied in Laurens thread and added my log files over there. For some reason I'm not getting notifications when responses are entered so my replies have been haphazard. Scott

I am hardwired. R19 worked perfectly. R20 does not. It was broken when it installed and now a week later it is still broken.
