  • Re: Accidental Tab Closing: UI design problem?

Thank you, yes, I am making use of the reopen closed tab. I'm glad to hear they are looking into this. I chatted with support about this a few days ago and they wanted me to submit it as an enhancement request rather than a UI design bug. This didn't see right to me, but I did so.

  • Accidental Tab Closing: UI design problem?

Since installing Logos 8, I repeatedly close tabs accidentally while trying to bring the tab to the front by clicking in it. I have a handful of tabs open, so the tab width is small. The active area around the X close icon is big enough that I catch it by accident. Does anyone else have this problem? I notice that the X icon is not shown until the mouse

  • Re: Suggestion: Allow Personal Reading Lists

Several times in the past couple years, I've wished for a personal reading list in Logos. It would serve to be a place where I can keep track of what I want to read in Logos and what I am reading, including keeping my place (maybe the ability to associate a Favorite with an item on the list would make this work well). I have 2 visual filters turned on: Speaker Labels and Sympathetic Highlighting. Upon your hint, I turned those off and tested scrolling again. No change. Clicking on the up or down arrows in the scrollbar, I get scroll performance that I expected - no problem. Tried a mouse with a scroll wheel. Works fine. Thanks for jumping in with ideas, Mark.

Here's a video. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5jzJAPBx4EfQTFZa29JTldtdlU/edit?usp=sharing . I don't know if this is the same problem experienced by the other fellow. But I too have a problem with poor scrolling. I'm running Logos 5 on Win7. I'm scrolling with a touchpad on a Dell Vostro laptop. As I show in the video, scrolling in other programs

  • Easy selection of multiple words of text

I want to select multiple words of text in a book. Precisely positioning the mouse at the beginning of the first word and the end of the last word is a somewhat difficult and error prone user interface task. This is why many programs provide a feature where a double click anywhere in a word selects the entire word and then entire words continue to be
