• Re: Application to allow loaning a book to another

Why not. I buy books from Amazon (Kindle) all the time. And I can loan those books for 2 weeks to someone else. It is absolutely wonderful. Why should I buy the same book in Vyrso or Logos if I can't even loan it. (When you loan a book in Kindle, it is unable to be read by the owner for those 2 weeks (unless it is returned early)). I can't imagine why

A very good idea to move on past XP combatibility. I think XP use is drying up fast, anyway. E ven our elementaryChristian school recently upgraded to Windows 7! :) while it is probably true that there are more churches and other frugal folks that are still using XP, even the most frugal will realize that it is time to move on (or simply not upgrade

  • Re: iPad cases with Logos in mind

Cases-I went with, thin and lightweight. A good choice for my use... I didn't want to carry a keyboard each time, but others love that. I use a notebook and Logos 4 for study... My iPad for on the go reading and quick bible study. So, I went with moko iPad 3 case from amazon for less than 20.00. Functional, attractive, but light and easy to carry. Amazon

Making Bible study more fruitful? If we are talking NT study, the best resource I use (not a commentary) is the Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament. https://www.logos.com/product/3888/lexham-discourse-greek-new-testament-bundle If your Greek is rusty or you don't use Greek, the save some money and get the ESV High Definition New Testament... It is

I am not quite sure why this title isn't on a fast track to publication. Perhaps Logos wants to hold this up in hopes of gaining more initial orders. Regardless, I think it is a major commentary (even if it is not always in my camp theologically) with so much good. I see all these "classic commentaries" series and dead white pastors and theologians
would love to see it in Logos. http://www.amazon.com/Literary-Structure-Old-Testament-Genesis-Malachi/dp/0801021871
Yes, this is a very useful book and would be a great addition to the Logos Library. Dorsey's Literary Structure of the OT would be even more useful tagged and included in Logos. JJ

I found comments stating, after issues, most wouldn't "touch this seminary with a 10-foot pole."
Logos Bible Software Users, We are a widely divergent group of users and of believers

I heard from Knox today. They didn't answer my question but they did give me this link (which is amazing to my way of thinking... why wouldn't they be happy to answer questions in regard to a doctoral program at Knox? Why would you simply give a link to this Logos site and be able to read that no one else is getting answers to their questions. Doesn

  • Suggestion: mobile app, control of where books are stored

It seems to me that it might notbe hard to give user control of where to store downloaded resources in the android mobile app (probably not an issue with iOS). Why? There are several newer phones and tablets (in the last year) that have gone to a three storage place model. For instance, main device storage (ram) is one, then USB storage is two, then

Last week I purchased an iPad 3, er, I mean an iPad release 2012. As a tablet it has some nice features. Most importantly, Logos for iOS works quite well with it. If I keep it, it will be because of Logos. Why wouldn't I keep it? While the screen is gorgeous, I don't know that I see the difference within Logos and other apps. In addition, some things

Calvin, Are you saying that Calibre "reads" Vyrso books? Or do you covert Vyrso/Logos books using Calibre?? Sounds interesting for books that you just want to read while out and about. My tablet history: I started with an Android Phone with a 4.3 screen. Worked ok for the occasional reading. I soon caught a deal on a Nook Color (long before the Nook
