I found that mine were being filtered into a junk folder - it may be worth checking!

Thank you - it seems to work perfectly!

...or sisteren. Sorry.

[View: http://community.logos.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files/76/1616.NW-Logos4.zip:550:0] Thanks for the advice! This was the log file from the last time I tried to use the programme. Nick

George, This time it was building a passage guide on Philippians 4:4-7, when I asked it for 'more' commentaries. It seems to happen at other times as well. The conversation I had earlier was referenced as case 49473 if that helps! Nick

OK, spoke too soon again... It got a lot further this time, and I was searching the library for a lectionary when it crashed. I'll try disabling all the Nokia software at startup, but not until tomorrow now. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks. Nick 2425.NW 2 Logos4.zip

Robert - thanks for trying! Nick

On the substance of the thread - I had great support when I called on the second day of release with what turned out to be an obscure incompatibility issue (with software to manage my Nokia phone). I was passed on quickly to the appropriate person, who used remote access to work my system and find the problem. Within a few days an update had fixed it

Hi - One thing I'd appreciate a bit of help on. I use the Oxford Bible Commentary as a quick starting point on a lot of passages, but it doesn't come up in the 'commentaries' section of PG. I know I can find other ways to get it up on other sections, but is there an elegant solution? Thanks. Nick

After a weekend of pretty solid use - two sermons finished off and some research for a dissertation - it's going strong, no crashes. Thank you! Nick

On the specific point of international phone charges - before now I've used Skype to phone Logos, and had no problems. If you have broadband and it's available to you, it's a no-cost or low-cost call (though you do have to buy credit in 10-euro blocks). I'm sure there are other internet telephony services that can help.

I was confused about this, having looked at the 'printable pdf' version ( http://www.logos.com/images/products/4basepackages/comparisonchart.pdf) when deciding whether or not to buy platinum - on this version, there's an error on p8, which shifts a lot of the checkmarks down a line on where they should be (there's a blank line against 'foundations of
We apologize for the discrepancies between the web and PDF versions of the chart. We're making the final edits to them right now. As soon as we're done, we'll do a careful check to make sure both versions are identical.
Thanks, Phil.

So far as I can see I can't bid more than $40 - which I did as soon as it opened for bidding!

P.Keith Larson - thanks for the response! If there was anything about different editions of the commentaries, I missed it! If anyone has an announcement for which were included, please post it as I can then just chalk it up to 'should have read more carefully...' There's certainly nothing on the current listing page which indicates that only some editions

The email I received only included the link to the Haroutunian book, and this is all that's downloaded under L4 - rather than the 46 volumes I was expecting to upgrade (my current version may be Galaxie Software, I'm not sure - having built up a library gradually over the last 15+ years, I've lost track of what I got when and where). Hopefully this

It looks like the same issue is affecting the 'Calvin 500 Upgrade' as seems to have hit some (at least) of those who'd bought the commentaries upgrade. Maybe only certain editions of the commentaries qualify? The filename on my original is GS_CALVC.LSF, which I presume is a Galaxie Software version. I didn't realise there'd be a problem with this, as

Never mind 2.0, I remember 1.6! One thing which that could do, which more recent versions don't - it integrated automatically and seamlessly to provide scripture texts within 'WorshipMaster', the Church of England's then-current liturgy planning software. If I could get Logos 4 and Visual Liturgy Live to do that I'd be happy... It doesn't take much

Thank you! My Nokia smartphone with internet contract now seems a useful tool rather than a fun toy! Of course, the full iPhone-style app would be wonderful, but this is a great start.

Hi Philip, Not Logos, but one resource online is the Church of England's daily prayer - http://daily.commonworship.com/daily.cgi?today_mp=1. It's updated every day, and may give some useful resources. Nick
