We are looking into formatting/font issues. Support for images, footnotes, endnotes, etc. will be addressed in a future update.
-
A fix for this issue has been included in 4.3 Beta 6 and will be available for users with Stable installs when 4.3 ships to the Stable channel.

As per http://community.logos.com/forums/t/33972.aspx , I have reported this issue.
-
I am able to reproduce the issue and have reported it to Development for further investigation.

Before the program hung, what are the steps to duplicate what you were doing? What word/words were you highlighting and what highlighting style were you using? When the program did hang, how long did you wait before attempting to force quit? Are you able to consistently reproduce the error?
-
Did you manually type in your Hebrew text? Or copy and paste if from another location? If you are not adverse to it, you can send me your document to test whether or not it is a problem with the document itself or an issue with the Tool. If you are willing, your file can be sent to: logos4feedback@logos.com

I am unable to reproduce this issue unless I have the program in full-screen/reading view mode, in which case the Taskbar will not appear by design. Could you post a screen shot of the issue, or better yet a video of the errant behavior?
-
You may want to try changing the Hebrew font in the original document to see if the compiled book will display correctly that way. For reference, I have confirmed that the SBL Hebrew font should work and you should have access to it as it installs with Logos 4. You might try that font. Font support is a known issue we are working on.
My install path, data path and temp path contain the swedish special character ä. Could this cause the error? Dump from crash log: Install path: C:\Documents and Settings\Ebbe\Lokala inställningar\Application Data\Logos4\System\Logos4.exe Data path: C:\Documents and Settings\Ebbe\Lokala inställningar\Application Data\Logos4

This is an issue I know Tech Support deals with fairly often. I never made it to 'Level 2', but if I remember correctly you may be able to get the update installed by saving the setup file to the desktop (or wherever you feel like saving it to) and then right-clicking on it to 'Run as administrator.'

Ebbe and Thomas, I received the files you sent; thanks gents! And I was able to successfully build books using all of them. So, we'll take a look at your logs, Ebbe. And if you could also post logs Thomas, then we can look at those as well.
I guess I don't have a helpful better suggestion. Sorry.
No worries. The 'it might be useful to present an alternative when suggesting it' was meant as in when I present it to Development, not when you originally posted it. So I apologize if it sounded like a chastisement; it wasn't intended as such. I'll just have

I have reported this issue.

I've reported this issue to Development. It is already covered on the release notes.
You know that I'd quit finding errors if the Talmud was released. You have more than enough to work on while I explore the Talmud.
Alas, if only that were in my control.

Thank you for reporting this. There is already a case for this issue, so I will add it to the 'Known Issues' section of the release notes for reference.
The word files is plural which makes me expect that I should be able to import multiple .docx files.
There is an existing case for this for the Mac platform (though it you can't add multiple files there either.) I will reopen it and include the fact that it doesn't work on Windows either, as well as the other extrapolations
